General Information / Changes
- The interface was hugely changed; now it resembles the GuitarFreaksXG & DrumManiaXG series' interface.
- A new unlocking system, EXTRA ATTACK, was added.
- EXTRA STAGE is PASELI-only now.
- .25x interval speed modifiers were added, though only up to 2.25X. These are exclusive to PASELI.
- HARD lifebar modifier added, which gives you 4 lives before the song is over. This feature is exclusive to PASELI.
- BPM sort is gone.
- GROOVE RADAR now has numbers for stats.
- DanceEvolution, SOUND VOLTEX and ミライダガッキ FutureTomTom folders added.
- Both the Nettou! BEMANI Stadium (熱闘！BEMANIスタジアム) and TAG's Birthday event songs appear in the DanceDanceRevolution (2014) folder, instead of the 2013 folder.
- ever snow and Sacred Oath's jackets were changed to remove NAOKI and jun from them, due to their leaving KONAMI in 2013.
- All the system music have been slightly re-arranged from their 2013 versions; now they sound closer to the game's theme song Another Phase.

Unlockable Songs
EXTRA ATTACK
The EXTRA ATTACK unlocking method allows the players to unlock EXTRA STAGE-only songs available on the EXTRA ATTACK folder. By playing songs of the EXTRA ATTACK folder, you fill the SURVIVED BONUS meter. Once you complete the meter of a song, you'll unlock that song for normal play. What you've filled of the SURVIVED BONUS meter of a song carries between games.
Note: you must unlock both the Single and Doubles charts of a song separately.
