  • The latter game was released on the same day as beatmania IIDX substream.
• beatmania IIDX substream is the only IIDX game that dj TAKA did not write any new songs for.
• First beatmania IIDX project worked on by illustrator GOLI, who's still with the franchise today.
• Only beatmania IIDX arcade release to not have a number in the title.

Codes & Secrets

ANOTHER charts/courses

• Hold the VEFX button while selecting a song or EXPERT course. This method of selecting the ANOTHER chart is used for every beatmania IIDX game going forward until beatmania IIDX 12 HAPPY SKY.

EXTRA STAGE

• Play GRADIUSIC CYBER, LUV TO ME (disco mix), celebrate or Macho Gang as your final stage. This is the only way to play KEEP ON MOVIN', PARANOIA MAX (DIRTY MIX) or BRILLIANT 2U.

Mirror Play

• Hold 1 and 3 when starting the game.

Random Play

• Push the VEFX, high EQ, and play volume sliders to the top, and the low EQ and track volume sliders to the bottom, then hold 1 and 7 and press start.

Frame color

• Press Start before selecting a song. The number of times you press it determines what color the frame is.
  • The colors, in order, are: red, blue, yellow, green, black, white, purple, dark blue, brown, olive, cyan, lime green, dark red, pink, and grey (the default).
