Profile
Iori Saeki was originally a doujin vocalist who debuted as NU-KO. She was one of the winner vocalists of the Anata mo★pop'n vocalist! contest from pop'n music 20 fantasia, along with 秋成 (who provided vocals for Intersection) and mami (who provided vocals for 情操ディストピア); she provided vocals for 恋愛観測 in that game. Since then, Iori has been commissioned for several BEMANI songs, mostly in the pop'n music series.
Iori Saeki is currently a voice actress belonging to swallow, PONY CANYON's voice actor office. Since then, she has deleted her old NU-KO named twitter account and started a new one under her real name. She is also currently the voice of Ren Akizuki in the BandMeshi♪ media mix project.
Iori is a special representative player in the BEMANI PRO LEAGUE ZERO event, as part of TEAM Ryu☆ directed by Ryutaro Nakahara.
Trivia
- Iori has also sung songs in KONAMI's arcade game Otoca♥d'or (オトカ♥ドール). Its website can be found here.
- She is also the voice of Nyandra in that game, her first work as a commercial voice actress (at that time, she hadn't joined swallow).
- Outside of BEMANI, Iori has provided vocals for various doujin songs, often with DJ Command, DJ Genki, Harunaba, and Shingo as the composer/arranger.
- According to Iori, the NU-KO alias comes from her preference for cats ("nuko" (ぬこ) is a Japanese slang for cat), when she set up her player name for the jubeat series [1].
