• Release date: September 13th, 2001

General Information / Changes

• NONSTOP mode added.
• New Bonus Track songs, a first in the series. (Previous ones had been extended versions or medleys of pre-existing GUITARFREAKS / drummania songs.)
• Updated interface now displays the name of the song in-game.
• Last of two games with Multisession GDK, allowing you to combine GUITARFREAKS, drummania, and KEYBOARDMANIA together to play songs on.
• GUITARFREAKS 6thMIX is the final game with dual guitars, where a Guitar chart was split in two different charts for 1P and 2P.
• Many of the new songs have grossly overrated/underrated song levels. Many of them were tweaked in following installments.
• Most returning songs lost their Bass charts.
• Kozo Nakamura makes his BEMANI debut.
• Total songs: 138 (115 in both, 12 only in GUITARFREAKS, 11 only in drummania)
