• AUTO-NECK and AUTO-PICK modifiers were introduced for GuitarFreaks V5.

Extra Rush Information

Extra/Encore Stage Requirements

• Extra Stage: Obtain a net total of 0 points over a playthrough, where for a given song:
  • SS = 3 points, S = 1 point, A = -1 point, B = -3 points, C = -5 points, D = -7 points, E = -9 points.

When accessed, an Extra Stage-specific song may be played in addition to any song on the regular songlist.

• Encore Stage: Obtain 95% Perfects in GuitarFreaks or 93% Perfects in DrumMania on an Extra Stage-specific song (marked in red on the songlist) without using any Auto modes. When accessed, the Encore Stage (and only the Encore Stage) will be made playable up to the highest difficulty level played on Extra Stage. The required Perfect percentage decreases 1% for every Extra Level past Extra Level 10.
• Premium Encore Stage: Obtain 98% Perfects in GuitarFreaks or 96% Perfects in DrumMania on an Extra Stage-specific song (marked in red on the songlist) without using any Auto modes. When accessed, the Premium Encore Stage (and only the Premium Encore Stage) will be made playable up to the highest difficulty level played on Extra Stage. The required Perfect percentage decreases 1% for every Extra Level past Extra Level 10.

Accessing Infinity Stage (Extra Level 10+)

When earning Extra Stage, in addition to the available Extra Stages on V5, the final two Extra Stages from V-V4 will be highlighted in purple. Initially, only the GF/DM V Extra Stages will be highlighted starting at Extra Level 2, but every 2 Extra Levels the Extra Stages from the following game will be highlighted, through GF/DM V4 at Extra Level 8. Earning 95% PERFECTS on either stage with no Auto modifiers will allow the player to play the Premium Encore Stage for the respective game on Encore Stage. If the stage is successfully completed, the player will earn a Memorial Title. The stage sequences and awarded title for each mix is as follows:

GF/DM V (Extra Level 2+)

• Extra Stages: ancient breeze, White tornado
• Encore Stage: Die Zauberflöte
• Title: Memorial Train

GF/DM V2 (Extra Level 4+)

• Extra Stages: Atalante, CaptivAte～裁き～
• Encore Stage: over there

GF/DM V3 (Extra Level 6+)

• Encore Stage: MODEL FT2 Miracle Version

GF/DM V4 (Extra Level 8+)

The Encore Stage may be played on any difficulty without Auto modifiers to obtain the title; however, since MODEL FT2 Miracle Version only has Extreme charts, fulfilling the V3 Encore Stage requirement on Basic or Advanced will result in playing on Extreme for Encore Stage.

In addition to these titles, the player must also earn the Memorial A.DOGMA title by clearing A.DOGMA on Premium Encore Stage (available at Extra Level 9). This may be done on any difficulty, but no Auto modifiers may be used.

Once these five titles are obtained, A.DOGMA will be available for play on Extra Stage and marked in gold letters. Earning 98% PERFECTS on A.DOGMA as Extra Stage (97% PERFECTS for Drums) will access Rock to Infinity up to the highest difficulty level used to achieve Infinity Stage. At Extra Level 13, the requirements for GF and DM have been lowered to 96% and 94% respectively.

Extra Rush Stages

GF/DM V5 reached Extra Level 13 as of 12/12/2008. E-amusement support for the game has ended as of 5/31/2009.
