Codes & Secrets

EXTRA STAGE

For your final stage, achieve one of the requirements below. This method, with some changes to the difficulties, is used for every beatmania IIDX game from 2nd style onwards.

  • Achieve a PERFECT COMBO (all GREATs or PERFECT GREATs) on a Level 3 chart or lower.
  • Achieve a FULL COMBO on a Level 4 chart.
  • Finish with 100% Groove Gauge on a Level 5 chart.
  • Clear a Level 6 or higher chart.
Mirror Play
  • Hold 2 and 4 when starting the game.
Random Play
  • Push the VEFX, high EQ, and play volume sliders to the top, and the low EQ and track volume sliders to the bottom, then hold 2 and 6 and press start.
Frame color
  • Press Start before selecting a song. The number of times you press it determines what color the frame is.
    • The colors, in order, are: red, blue, yellow, green, black, white, purple, dark blue, brown, olive, cyan, lime green, dark red, pink, and grey (the default).
beat#2
  • Enter the test menu, select the GAME SETTINGS menu, and press 1-1-7-7-2-2-6-6 on the 2P side. This unlocks the three hidden songs for play in the final stage, as well as the dj TAKA and HEAVEN EXPERT courses.
