Release Information
- Release Date: July 27th, 1999.
General Information / Changes
- Second and final CLUB VERSiON game. Includes nearly all the songs present in beatmania IIDX substream.
- All the songs from VERSiON 1 are also included, with brand new charts.
- beatmania IIDX substream and DanceDanceRevolution 2ndMIX AND beatmania IIDX substream CLUB VERSiON 2 debuted on the same day, the first time both games' newest entries debuted on the same day.
- This is the last version of DanceDanceRevolution to run on KONAMI's System 573 Analog hardware.
- The rating scale has been expanded from 8 to 9. Charts rated level 9 would first appear in the mainline DanceDanceRevolution games starting with DanceDanceRevolution 3rdMIX.
- When the next mainline entry, DanceDanceRevolution 3rdMIX was released, none of the songs from this CLUB VERSiON were carried over. Some of them were later added over in the arcade in DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME. However, 4 AMD remixes were included in 3rdMIX along with the charts of KEEP ON MOVIN'. Outside of the direct port for this CLUB VERSiON, some songs were later included in other home versions.
