- Game interface is a re-skinned DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME with new menu music by Sota Fujimori.
- Recent DanceDanceRevolution dancers Bus and Train, first seen in the overlays for LONG TRAIN RUNNIN', are playable for the first time in the series outside of BEGINNER charts.
- CONGA FEELING and DREAM A DREAM have their videos (and banners) first seen in DDRMAX2 -DanceDanceRevolution-.
- First Japanese CS DanceDanceRevolution release to feature a license from a Dancing Stage title - Wannabe.
