Since then she's performed in a large number of songs in BEMANI, especially in pop'n music. As of 2011, she's one of the few early vocalists still active in BEMANI games, along with Manami Fujino. Staple pop'n music playable character SANAE♥chan is named after her, often serving as her character in songs she sings.

- Sanae Shintani is the only vocalist to appear in all 19 core arcade pop'n music games to date, and the only in-house Konami staff member to do so as well.
