pop'n music 11 CS

Release Information

  • Release date: July 21st, 2005

General Information / Changes

  • First appearance of Character Guide, which allows you to see a character's various animations.
  • First and only CS pop'n with URA songs, which are old pop'n music songs with new notecharts. The songs themselves sound the same and have the same BPM, with the exception of 男々道, whose BPM is changed around.
    • STAR TREK and its URA version are absent from the songlist.
  • First CS pop'n music to not bring over any of the CS song crossovers from its corresponding arcade counterpart back over to the CS release.
    • This trend continued for the rest of the PlayStation 2 pop'n music games.
  • First CS pop'n music release where every song has at least a NORMAL and HYPER chart.
  • Similar to pop'n music 10 CS, all hidden licenses from the the original arcade version are playable by default (though the characters still need to be unlocked).
  • Total songs: 113

Unlocking Information

POP'N TOURIST

pop'n music 11's unlock system is called POP'N TOURIST. You choose one of 9 places to fly to, collecting miles via playing any mode in Arcade Mode to fly to them. After choosing your destination, you'll receive mail in-between stages alerting you of your progress. After a certain amount of stages, you'll unlock a song/character/mod/course. (Note that you can't leave and visit another area until after you unlock something.) Typically the higher the miles required for entering an area, the longer it will take to unlock an item.
