- Name: Sanae Shintani (新谷早苗)
- Her name is often spelled as Sana Shintani in English, and 新谷さなえ in Japanese
General Information
Sanae is one of BEMANI's first in-house female vocalists, with her work dating back to the very CS BEMANI game with beatmania YebisuMIX. Since then she's performed in a large number of songs in BEMANI, especially in pop'n music. As of 2011, she's one of the few early vocalists still active in BEMANI games, along with Manami Fujino. Staple pop'n music playable character SANAE♥chan is named after her, often serving as her character in songs she sings.
