* MÚSECA has now two modes: a regular game mode (シンプルに音楽ゲーム! 好きな楽曲をプレーする) and a mission one (イラスト好きはこちら! 解放MISSIONをプレーする). Either mode is chosen upon starting the game, but can be switched during song or Mission select with the lower left spinner.
** Pure game mode has no speed changes, no lane change shifts and no score changing caused by Grafica. The obtainable max score in this mode is 1000000 points. LIFE has been removed; instead, to clear a song you now need 700000 points or higher, but failing a song does not result in an early game over. You also cannot fail in the middle of a song anymore. The level restriction for chart selection is removed. Grafica can still be used but will not cause any effect, however they can still be leveled up which is useful for missions.
** The regular game mode is the default game version that removes any speed or lane changes. LIFE has been removed and instead replaced with a 1000000 scoring system, with a 700000 point clear threshold similar to jubeat. All three songs are guaranteed, and level restrictions are removed. Grafica can still be used but will not cause any effect (including score changes), however they can still be leveled up which is useful for Missions.
** Mission mode is where Grafica are unlocked and where their skills affect the game (such as more chances of obtaining other Grafica, etc...).
*** Due to this, the clear ranks have also been revamped:
* Grafica level up when used. The level name in the game is known as MEDEL. The MEDEL cap of the Grafica depends on which difficulty you completed the mission to unlock the specific Grafica itself.
**** 傑: 975000 - 1000000 (getting 1000000 results in a gold 傑)
* Grafica's elements have been simplified to just five only: NATURAL (green), PASSION (red), COOL (blue), PURE (white), and DARK (gray). The names of the elements are also written in English. Grafica's elements come into action in missions: unlocking Grafica becomes easier if you use a Grafica with a specific element against another:
**** 秀: 950000 - 974999
** COOL counters PASSION.
**** 優: 900000 - 949999
** PASSION counters NATURAL.
**** 良: 850000 - 899999
** NATURAL counters COOL.
**** 佳: 800000 - 849999
** PURE and DARK counter each other.
**** 凡: 700000 - 799999 (minimum clear rank)
* The UI is now easier to navigate; the lower right spinner and the start button is all you need to go through it. However, the other spinners can still be used for navigation:
**** 拙: 600000 - 699999
**** 没: no more than 599999
** Mission mode is the original game mode (Grafica's skills are active and gameplay gimmicks can be triggered).

*** For CURATOR SKILL, seven songs that are rated Level 15 are internally counted as 16 for the purpose of reaching higher skill ranks. These seven songs are: MeteorA, NeverWorld, Redshift, Refrain, V, ZEPHYRANTHES, and 絶対零度.
** All Level 7 or lower charts for hidden songs are available by default (Level 8 or higher charts have to be unlocked with COLORIS). Most Grafica are unlocked as well.

Release Information

• Release dates:
• Japan and Asia except Korea: July 27th, 2016
• Korea: August 10th, 2016
• Soundtrack release (digital only, via beatmania IIDX ULTIMATE MOBILE): December 9th, 2019
• Only the 63 original/contest songs made for the game appear on the soundtrack.

General Information / Changes

• Final MÚSECA game.
• MÚSECA 1+1/2 was first known as the "Renovation" major update that was announced in early February. It eventually became an append version to the original MÚSECA game.
• MÚSECA has now two modes: a regular game mode (シンプルに音楽ゲーム! 好きな楽曲をプレーする) and a mission one (イラスト好きはこちら! 解放MISSIONをプレーする). Either mode is chosen upon starting the game, but can be switched during song or Mission select with the lower left spinner.
• The regular game mode is the default game version that removes any speed or lane changes.
• Due to this, the clear ranks have also been revamped:
• 傑: 975000 - 1000000 (getting 1000000 results in a gold 傑)
• 秀: 950000 - 974999
• 優: 900000 - 949999
• 良: 850000 - 899999
• 佳: 800000 - 849999
• 凡: 700000 - 799999 (minimum clear rank)
• 拙: 600000 - 699999
• 没: no more than 599999
• Mission mode is the original game mode (Grafica's skills are active and gameplay gimmicks can be triggered).
• Grafica also have other changes/additions:
• MEDEL is introduced, which is a Grafica level cap system where abilities influence on which difficulty you completed the mission to unlock the specific Grafica itself.
• Grafica's elements have been simplified to just five only: NATURAL (green), PASSION (red), COOL (blue), PURE (white), and DARK (gray). The names of the elements are also written in English. Grafica's elements come into action in missions: unlocking Grafica becomes easier if you use a Grafica with a specific element against another. COOL counters PASSION, then NATURAL, then COOL; PURE and DARK counter against each other.
• The UI is now made easier to navigate:
• The lower right spinner and the start button are the basic selection for navigation.
• The top left spinner accesses filtering options for tracks or Grafica.
• The bottom left spinner allows switching between pure game mode and Mission mode, but only during song or Mission selection, and not during Grafica selection.
• The top right spinner accesses sorting options for tracks or Grafica.
• Charts can now be unlocked directly from the songlist screen during any stage. In this way, you can also play the unlocked chart in the same credit.
• Only data carried over to MÚSECA 1+1/2 from the original game are scores, CONNECT ALL marks, and the unlocked songs. Everything else was reset, including acquired Grafica.
• Acquiring Grafica that were obtained in the original MÚSECA will give an experience bonus.
• The following options are available from October 6th, 2016 onward:
• MIRROR / RANDOM
• Note hit sound volume
• Judgement Display Position
• Timing Bars / Beat Line Display
• Grafica voice
• Screen Filter
• Lane Curve
• Mode Select Display
• CURATOR RANK is introduced on November 2nd, 2016. The rank increases depending on how many missions of specific difficulty you complete. Some songs require a certain CURATOR RANK in order to be unlocked.
• One of the only two active BEMANI games at the time of announcement that did not appear at The 7th KONAMI Arcade Championship, along with REFLEC BEAT 悠久のリフレシア.
• Conversion kits to change MÚSECA to Bishi Bashi CHANNEL (ビシバシCHANNEL), are offered beginning in June 26th, 2018.
• Offline kits for MÚSECA 1+1/2 were released on June 26th, 2018. Machines with an offline kit are denoted with game version "PIX:J:B:A:2018******", as opposed to "PIX:J:A:A:2018******" for non-offline kit machines.
• S-RANDOM option, along with CURATOR SKILL were added.
• All Level 7 or lower charts for hidden songs are available by default (Level 8 or higher charts have to be unlocked with COLORIS). Most Grafica are unlocked as well.
• In the Korean version of the game, the offline mode patch is downloaded from the network instead of installing offline kits. Machines with this patch applied are denoted with game version "PIX:K:A:A:2018073002", and are unable to boot with a network cable connected.
• A patch was released on July 30th, 2018 regarding a bug involving spinner judgement in the offline version of the game. For all machines already offline, a USB device to manually install the update was sent out to all who received offline kits.
• Official support for MÚSECA 1+1/2 ended on July 31st, 2018.
• However, eAMUSEMENT and PASELI are still available on a smaller scale set of machines.
