From [[Takeyasu Hiroshi|HIRO]]:
=== Original Version ===
==== [[Hiroshi Takeyasu|HIRO]] ====
What's an "underwater family"!? According to Manami Fujino, who's in charge of the lyrics and vocals of Parquets, there's an American cartoon called the "○○ Family" series, and it seems that Fujino's story is based on that image. I personally also like Parquets' arrangement, and learned various things during its recording.

What is an "underwater family"? It sounds like a U.S. cartoon series, along the lines of a "** Family" type of name. [[Manami Fujino|Fujino Minami]] took charge in writing this song and doing the vocals as [[Parquets]], and it was Fujino herself who adopted the kind of image portrayed in this song. I was to study the arrangement of Parquets personally for the recording, but various things came up.
=== LONG Version ===
==== Parquets ====
Hello! I'm Manami Fujino, who's in charge of the vocals.<br>
Well, what should I write about this song. Parquets participated in pop'n for the first time with it.<br>
Ah, it's calm. (Originally, this song existed as an original)<br>
When we created this, Parquets was in the middle of "a boom in selfishly creating fictional drama and anime theme songs". Well, "Suichuukazoku no theme" was born under the (long!) theme of "a theme song for an adventure drama about a family who travels in a submarine across worldwide seas, which aired on American TVs during the 1960s".<br>
We also created various other songs such as "sky family" and "oil field family".<br>
Oh, I got rid of "oil~" halfway through because the setting was too grand (laughs).<br>
By the way, the band's current boom is starchy fried rice.

<nowiki>---------------</nowiki> ↑ Fujino's comment is above ------------ ↓ Kataoka's comment is below <nowiki>--------------</nowiki>

Hello, underwater family. Even though it's spring on the calendar, it isn't very warm.<br>
The title and melody of Suichuukazoku was decided from the beginning. It's a 6/8 house song. The submarine home and dock, and the small scouting boat designs and opening logo, immediately developed in my mind at once. Only the song became a reality, but I'm excited to create the main part someday, it's just a matter of time. Someone please give me a budget.<br>
When I created this song, I firmly believed that "pop is 3 minutes long!". Despite randomly expanding, it compacts and settles down. Who probably imagined that this song would fortunately be included in pop'n in full size? Come to think of it, I still haven't heard whether it's included yet or not. Although it's a hidden song, you don't have to hide it from me, right (laughs)? Huh. σ(..)<br>
Please add mini ramen to my starchy fried rice. As well as dumplings. Let's eat. I'm getting fat. ← I don't like this. ← I don't like that it's probably too late now. ← But I don't like it. ← I won't eat it. ← I don't like that either.

=== [[Ryuta Tamura|TAMA]] ===
This isn't a continuation of last week, but when I was making this, [[Jun Wakita|wac]]'s face looked like Nobita when he took off his glasses.<br>
Such notecharts.

=== [[Masaru Nakamura|masaru]] ===
I'm glad~ this song was included as a LONG version. It's a fun chart to play.

=== Kobayashi ===
Yuura, yuura, yuurara, that's right.

=== wac ===
Huh? Didn't I tell you that I'd like to include a LONG version during the live general production, Kataoka?<br>
Well, to deceive your enemies, you first have allies, or rather, there are no enemies. It's great that there's a relationship that can be read as a worthy opponent.<br>
This song was around when I first started working for pop'n during 3, when I was asked to gather candidate songs by new artists, and when I first listened to this song, I was thinking "can I create charts for it", but I was exclusively in charge of HYPER charts back then, so I was envious.<br>
As time passes by, pop'n has changed for better or worse, and it might've slightly changed from the charts I wanted to create back then, but I was happy that I played the charts that I created myself. Sorry to keep you waiting, myself from 3 years ago.

=== [[Eiri Mikoshiba|Mikoshiba]] ===
It somehow feels fresh.

=== [[Tomoko Shiono|shio]] ===
The short version? It's also fun to see various different phrases appear. I wonder if each of them are a scene from an underwater family's adventure? When I listened to the LONG version, I ended up liking this song even more.<br>
The "unpappa" rhythms around the middle section are very, very calming.

=== [[Aya Sato|Chobi.]] ===
It's captivating. No, this isn't the time to be captivated!

Ah, it's calm. (Originally, this song existed as an original)
When we created this, Parquets was in the middle of "a boom in selfishly creating fictional drama and anime theme songs". Well, "Suichuukazoku no theme" was born under the (long!) theme of "a theme song for an adventure drama about a family who travels in a submarine across worldwide seas, which aired on American TVs during the 1960s".
We also created various other songs such as "sky family" and "oil field family".
Oh, I got rid of "oil~" halfway through because the setting was too grand (laughs).
By the way, the band's current boom is starchy fried rice.

Hello, underwater family. Even though it's spring on the calendar, it isn't very warm.
Someone please give me a budget.
Huh. σ(..)
Please add mini ramen to my starchy fried rice. As well as dumplings. Let's eat. I'm getting fat. ← I don't like this. ← I don't like that it's probably too late now. ← But I don't like it. ← I won't eat it. ← I don't like that either.

TAMA

This isn't a continuation of last week, but when I was making this, wac's face looked like Nobita when he took off his glasses.
Such notecharts.

masaru

I'm glad~ this song was included as a LONG version. It's a fun chart to play.

Kobayashi

Yuura, yuura, yuurara, that's right.

wac

Huh? Didn't I tell you that I'd like to include a LONG version during the live general production, Kataoka?
Well, to deceive your enemies, you first have allies, or rather, there are no enemies. It's great that there's a relationship that can be read as a worthy opponent.
This song was around when I first started working for pop'n during 3, when I was asked to gather candidate songs by new artists, and when I first listened to this song, I was thinking "can I create charts for it", but I was exclusively in charge of HYPER charts back then, so I was envious.
As time passes by, pop'n has changed for better or worse, and it might've slightly changed from the charts I wanted to create back then, but I was happy that I played the charts that I created myself. Sorry to keep you waiting, myself from 3 years ago.

Mikoshiba

It somehow feels fresh.

shio

The short version? It's also fun to see various different phrases appear. I wonder if each of them are a scene from an underwater family's adventure? When I listened to the LONG version, I ended up liking this song even more.
The "unpappa" rhythms around the middle section are very, very calming.

Chobi.

It's captivating. No, this isn't the time to be captivated!
