Unlock Information

The unlock system for Pop'n Music 8 is a game called "SUGOROKU DE 8". (Sugoroku is a children's dice game.) Players guide a robot around the islands of Japan by rolling a dice; the robot then moves that many spaces. There are cities every three spaces, and when a player reaches a city, they might unlock a new song, course, or character. Players get different "prizes" each time the reach a different city. For example, the first time you reach Tokyo, you unlock CANDY♥. When you get to Tokyo the first time after you've made it all around Japan once, you unlock May Fa as a playable character.
