General Information

  • Released: June 27, 2002
  • The final Playstation version. Playstation 2 had been out for 2 years by this time, and though Pop'n Music kept its popularity, consumers disliked the short songlist of the Playstation's limited capacity CDs. Konami responded with the longest songlist of any Playststion Pop'n title, at the expense of graphics.
  • Gundam and Taiyou do not appear, as they were preview songs in the previous Pop'n Music CS game. Several other licensed songs don't appear but later made it in Pop'n Music 7 CS and Best Hits CS.
  • Battle Mode and RGB Mode are not present, unlike the AC version.
  • Total songs: 104.
