- Birthday: December 21st
- Birthplace: Kobe, Japan

Profile
Sanae Shintani is one of BEMANI's first in-house female vocalists, with her work dating back to the very first CS BEMANI game with beatmania YebisuMIX. She initially worked as a receptionist at KONAMI. Since then she's performed in a large number of songs in BEMANI, especially in pop'n music. Staple pop'n music playable character SANAE♥chan is named after her, often serving as her character in the songs she sings.
Sanae might have left KONAMI in the early 2010's. She hasn't been in any BEMANI games with new songs since 2011, and she recently appeared in the commercial CD Game Music Prayer, where KONAMI is not mentioned for copyright anywhere on the official Game Music Prayer website.
Trivia
- Sanae Shintani has appeared in 20 core arcade pop'n music games to date, more than any other musician/vocalist in the series.
