Yoshitaka Nishimura (西村 宜隆) (born February 9th, 1979 in Nagasaki, Kyushu) is a BEMANI artist who made his debut in 2004's beatmania IIDX 11 IIDX RED, appearing as one of the sound directors in his debut game alongside veteran dj TAKA and Tatsh. He is known for his trance/pop tunes, especially the CaptivAte series of songs, and his contributions to the jubeat series such as Evans and FLOWER. He's also been known to sneak in lots of scratching in his songs, including some for Des-ROW. Yoshitaka was the head beatmania IIDX sound director from beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD through SIRIUS. After SIRIUS his BEMANI appearances have been scarce, often appearing as a vocalist or in collaboration with someone else.
Yoshitaka is also a very big name in REFLEC BEAT, serving as the series' director in earlier titles and, as of REFLEC BEAT groovin'!!, its producer as well.
Yoshitaka is currently the head producer of the following BEMANI series: beatmania IIDX, pop'n music, REFLEC BEAT, SOUND VOLTEX and BeatStream.
