- Second Japanese DanceDanceRevolution compilation game, with one new license and 5 new CS songs.
- Game interface is a re-skinned DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME with new menu music by Sota Fujimori.
- Recent DanceDanceRevolution dancers BUS and TRAIN, first seen in LONG TRAIN RUNNIN', are playable for the first and only time in the series outside of BEGINNER charts.
- Licenses show a generic Dancemania logo, instead of listing their Dancemania album of origin.
- CONGA FEELING and DREAM A DREAM have their videos and new graphics first seen in DDRMAX2 -DanceDanceRevolution-.
- First Japanese CS DanceDanceRevolution release to feature a license from a European CS Dancing Stage title - Wannabe.
- Can unlock everything in DDRMAX CS, DDRMAX2 CS, and DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME CS through System Data Support.
- One of the only two CD-based PlayStation 2 Japanese DanceDanceRevolution games, along with DDRMAX.
