DanceDanceRevolution A20 PLUS
Release Information

General Information / Changes
- Update release of DanceDanceRevolution A20, with new background animations and a new set of BGMs.
- This makes A20 PLUS the first PLUS release in the arcade DanceDanceRevolution series since DanceDanceRevolution 4thMIX PLUS.
- Plus signs have been added to the background videos seen on the song select and score overview screens.
- A new "level measurement" feature is now available; if you fail the first stage, you will then play an alternative chart of This Beat Is....., after which you will be given a recommended difficulty level and songs to play. If you are playing with Premium Play, you will then proceed to the second stage as normal.
- This is only available when playing without an e-amusement pass, or if you have not cleared a chart rated Level 7 or higher.
- The crowd audio clips are much quieter and play less often during gameplay.
- All the songs exclusive to 20th Anniversary cabinets of A20 are still exclusive to 20th Anniversary cabinets of A20 PLUS.
- All the songs region locked in the North American release of A20 are still region locked in A20 PLUS.

Unlockable Songs
EXTRA STAGE
The Result Star system introduced in DanceDanceRevolution X3 vs 2ndMIX is used in A20 PLUS, and is only available on Premium Play. When nine Result Stars are obtained, and FINAL STAGE is cleared, EXTRA STAGE will be played. Both players' stars are combined, and progress carries over to the next round if EXTRA STAGE was not reached. Each player can earn a maximum of three stars per song.

EXTRA SAVIOR PLUS
The EXTRA SAVIOR song folder from DanceDanceRevolution A returned on July 16th, 2020, now called EXTRA SAVIOR PLUS. These songs, when unlocked during EXTRA STAGE, can thereafter be played during any stage on Premium Play.
After playing a song on a specific difficulty level, progress through the chart accumulates. If the summed progress of all of your attempts reaches 100% (or if you clear the song), then that chart, and all difficulties under it, will be unlocked for normal play. For example, clearing a song on DIFFICULT will unlock the DIFFICULT, BASIC, and BEGINNER charts. Also for example, failing a chart 70% in, and then failing it again 40% in, will also unlock the chart.
Using the modifiers CUT1/CUT2, Jumps OFF, or Freeze OFF will proportionally reduce the amount of progress possible.

SUMMER DANCE CAMP 2020
The SUMMER DANCE CAMP 2020 event is a collaboration event between DanceDanceRevolution A20 PLUS and DANCERUSH STARDOM. From July 7th, 2020 to September 7th, 2020, stamps can be earned by playing either DanceDanceRevolution or DANCERUSH STARDOM. Three stamps are offered once per day, one for the game being played and two for the opposite game. By collecting a certain amount of stamps for a specific game, songs will be unlocked for the respective game.

NONSTOP Courses
NONSTOP courses can only be accessed in 1st STAGE during Premium Play. Each course has four fixed songs; the difficulty level and the LIFE GAUGE option are not fixed, and can be changed on the song selection screen between the five difficulty levels (four on Double). If CHALLENGE is chosen, and a song in the course does not have CHALLENGE charts, the EXPERT charts will be used instead.
Players can only choose modifiers before the first song of the course (changing the LIFE GAUGE option to RISKY or LIFE4 switches these courses to CHALLENGE MODE); SPEED can be adjusted at the start of every song.
