* All the menus have new music composed by [[Takayuki Ishikawa|dj TAKA]]. This music would also be used in [[AC 4th style|beatmania IIDX 4th style]].

General Information / Changes

  • Slogan: WELCOME TO THE CYBER-beat-NATION
  • First style to feature LIGHT charts. Not every song has them, though.
    • As such, LIGHT MODE is added to the mode select. (Songs that don't have LIGHT charts play their 7/14KEYS chart instead.)
  • First style with the SUDDEN modifier.
  • All the menus have new music composed by dj TAKA. This music would also be used in beatmania IIDX 4th style.
  • All of the beatmania IIDX generic videos that reused animations from the original beatmania series have been removed, and were replaced with newer generic beatmania IIDX videos.
  • All beatmania crossovers have been removed. Only 20,november, deep in you, GENOM SCREAMS and RUGGED ASH would be revived in another arcade style.
  • All songs now use a brand-new font design on the title cards, as opposed to the classic beatmania font used in the first three games. This font would be used until beatmania IIDX 6th style.
  • First appearance of Osamu Kubota in BEMANI.
  • Total songs: 72
