  • Theme: Nightclubs and DJs
    • Both themes reference the "RESIDENT" subtitle, which is derived from the term Resident DJ, as well as commemorating the 30th installment of the beatmania IIDX series.
    • The interface also has a sub-theme of genetic analysis, with references to DNA and RNA, as well as a double-helix shape on the chart difficulty meters.
  • First beatmania IIDX game to run at Full HD (FHD) 1080p.
    • The Definition Type was added back on the title screen, displayed as either HD or FHD.
    • During the location tests, the background video was not expanded when playing without a SCORE TARGET or second player, due to the increased screen resolution.
  • FAST/SLOW now has an option to display separately for keys and scratches.
    • FAST/SLOW colors can now be inverted.
  • Clear lamps/DJ Levels for each folder now have a bar graph breakdown on the right side of the screen. They can be enabled or disabled by pressing [4] on the keypad.
    • The QR code functionality, which was the previous function for [4], was removed.
  • NOTES RADAR has several additions:
    • A NOTES RADAR recommendation folder has been added.
    • You can check the values of each parameter for each score up to two decimal places.
    • A top 10 ranking of songs in each note parameter has been added.
  • PREMIUM FREE mode can now be played on non-Japanese cabinets, including those lacking PASELI support, with only the option to play for 10-minutes, at a cost of two or four [1] credits per session. [2]
    • V-Discs are given on coin-based PREMIUM FREE credits, similar to the V-Disc daily bonus perk from previous styles.
  • SCORE TARGET now follows the pacing along with the player.
