REFLEC BEAT limelight is the second installment of the REFLEC BEAT series.

General Information
- Supports KONAMI's PASELI e-money system.
- New difficulty level added: 10+.
- BASIC level added two top object judgment points on left and right.
- HARD level added an extra top object judgment point on middle.
- The condition for clearing a round has been changed: Instead of defeating your opponent or achieving an A rank or higher, you must attain an Achivement Rate of 70% or higher. Winning or losing will not impact whether you clear or fail.
- The Achievement Rate is now displayed on the playing field.
- All the hidden BEMANI crossovers (except Stay my side) and APPEND FESTIVAL unlocks from REFLEC BEAT are now playable by default.
- Infinity, Sacred Oath, He is my only star, and Smug Face -どうだ、オレの生き様は- are also playable now by default.
- However, all the new REFLEC BEAT level unlocks (except for Juicy and L'erisia(Primal Logic)), as well as hidden/FINAL ROUND songs Diamond Dust -Try to Sing Ver.-, Hollywood Galaxy, Survival Games, Sakura Reflection, SPECIAL SUMMER CAMPAIGN!, Wuv U, and DEADLOCK, in addition to the Lincle Link Event #1 songs, are still hidden.
- Infinity, Sacred Oath, He is my only star, and Smug Face -どうだ、オレの生き様は- are also playable now by default.
- Default background system BGM is composed by Qrispy Joybox.

The APPEND TRAVEL event started on March 14th, 2012, and ended on September 25th, 2012.
Players earn APPEND ENERGY (AE) by playing the 7 participating BEMANI games, and use it to unlock the collaboration songs for play in jubeat. The AE may also be used to purchase add-ons for other games such as customisation options and abilities. In REFLEC BEAT, three jubeat Glass (jubeatグラス) were added with jubeat crossovers to unlock.
