General Information / Changes

  • First BEMANI game to feature a modernized version of an older game as a game mode. 2ndMIX mode is a high-definition remake of DanceDanceRevolution 2ndMIX with all the songs except STRICTLY BUSINESS featured.
  • Interface theme is from DanceDanceRevolution II for the Nintendo Wii console.
  • DRILL COURSE from X2 is removed.
  • Target Score system added. Player can choose a different rival / own score to track between songs.
  • BEMANI Title sort option added. Shows songs in folders as they are playable in the other major 5 series.
  • First DanceDanceRevolution game to use Star system to determine if player gets EXTRA STAGE.
  • First DanceDanceRevolution game to feature the RISKY option.

During the event these five songs were each available on different weekdays. In addition, Weekend Special event was later added, and the songs cycled hourly on weekends. The events ended on May 28, 2012 and all songs were unlocked for regular play.

Tsugidoka! (つぎドカ!)

These songs debuted on December 19th, 2012. They also appear in REFLEC BEAT colette, pop'n music Sunny Park, and (in the case of Cosmic Hurricane and snow prism, remixed in) GuitarFreaksXG3 & DrumManiaXG3.

The Tsugidoka! song which got the most plays on all games combined as of January 8th, 2013 was transplanted to jubeat saucer on January 9th. The winner song was 紅焔.
