General Information / Changes

  • Widely believed to be the final arcade DanceDanceRevolution game, with new content appearing in the form of online updates pushed through the e-AMUSEMENT network.
  • New cabinets have a white finish and brighter tone lights.
  • Interface is based very heavily on DanceDanceRevolution X3 VS 2ndMIX's interface.
    • The ENJOY LEVEL and EXTRA STAGE systems are also carried over.
  • First DanceDanceRevolution game to not have any ENCORE EXTRA STAGE since DanceDanceRevolution 5thMIX.
  • First arcade DanceDanceRevolution game where GOODs do not break combo.
  • HAPPY and COURSE modes have been removed.

ENJOY LEVEL Unlocks

Note: Levels 55 to 100 unlock the CHALLENGE charts of the ENJOY LEVEL songs, in the same order as above, at every 5-level intervals.

Private BEMANI Academy (私立BEMANI学園)

The Private BEMANI Academy event consists on raising the Friendship between two artists to 100% in order to unlock a certain song. You need to check the Private BEMANI Academy eAMUSEMENT site after you've reached 100% to claim an unlock.

You can raise the Friendship degree by playing either beatmania IIDX 20 tricoro, DanceDanceRevolution, GITADORA, jubeat saucer, pop'n music Sunny Park or REFLEC BEAT colette -Spring-. Depending of the game that you're playing, certain songs will raise the Friendship degree of two artists faster than on the other BEMANI games.

You can also play DanceEvolution ARCADE, SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH or SOUND VOLTEX II -infinite infection-, or take the BEMANI Test in QUIZ MAGIC ACADEMY 賢者の扉 Season2 to receive bonus Friendship degrees.

Songs are ordered from the one that gives you more Friendship (and as such, you can unlock it faster in DanceDanceRevolution), to the one that gives you the least.

To unlock Elemental Creation, you must have unlocked all the previous 9 Private BEMANI Academy songs, then you need to raise the Friendship degree of dj TAKA and DJ YOSHITAKA to 100%.

jubeat・GITADORA・DDRのTriple Journey (jubeat-GITADORA-DDR no Triple Journey)

The jubeat・GITADORA・DDRのTriple Journey (jubeat-GITADORA-DDR no Triple Journey) collaboration event with jubeat saucer and GITADORA began on August 1st, 2013.

UPDATE: Locked jubeat・GITADORA・DDRのTriple Journey songs on DanceDanceRevolution can be unlocked from October 1st, 2013. Each game session will unlock a song.
