DDR FESTIVAL -DanceDanceRevolution-

Release Information

  • Release Date: November 18th, 2004

General Information / Changes

  • First "catch up" Japanese DanceDanceRevolution title. Most of the songlist consists of new KONAMI originals from DanceDanceRevolution ULTRAMIX and DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME CS US, along with a few new licenses, some of the licenses from DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME CS US, some old KONAMI original DanceDanceRevolution songs, and two new KONAMI originals.
  • The DanceDanceRevolution ULTRAMIX songs all have brand-new HEAVY charts on both SINGLE and DOUBLE. None of them have BEGINNER charts, though.
  • First Japanese PlayStation 2 DanceDanceRevolution release compatible with Sony's EyeToy accessory, which can be used to play mini-games and exclusive modes.
  • Interface is taken directly from DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME CS US, though licenses, default KONAMI originals, and hidden songs are all colored differently from one another unlike in that game.
  • None of DDR FESTIVAL -DanceDanceRevolution-'s songs feature CHALLENGE charts.
  • BeForU members Riyu Kosaka and Noria Shiraishi appear on the back cover of the DDR FESTIVAL -DanceDanceRevolution- box, as well as on the screenshots on the official site advertising the new EyeToy games.
  • Total songs: 66
