Dancing Stage Unleashed

Release Information

  • Platform: Xbox
  • Release date: March 20th, 2004 (Europe)

General Information / Changes

  • The European counterpart of DanceDanceRevolution ULTRAMIX, keeping its interface and unlocking system.
    • The main notable difference between DanceDanceRevolution ULTRAMIX and Dancing Stage Unleashed is the removal of 11 KONAMI originals, including all but one of the new songs created for ULTRAMIX. It's the only Unleashed title to do this.
      • Additionally, ULTRAMIX's four licensed songs have been replaced with a set of eight brand-new licenses.
      • Consequently, Dancing Stage Unleashed contains seven fewer songs than DanceDanceRevolution ULTRAMIX overall.
      • Due to the removal of AFTER THE GAME OF LOVE, Dancing Stage Unleashed doesn't contain a single one-footer stepchart.
  • Unlike the arcade/PlayStation/PlayStation 2 Dancing Stage titles, there are no stage numbers. You can play as many songs as you like without pause or options set.
  • First CS Dancing Stage release with DLC, allowing you to download new song packs at $4.99 each.
  • First Dancing Stage title with two announcers, and the first with both female and male announcers.
  • No songs have BEGINNER or CHALLENGE charts, even those that had them originally.
  • Only CS Dancing Stage release to show a song's length during gameplay.
  • Total songs: 44 (plus 30 DLC songs)
