General Information

IIDX 18.jpg

  • Location Tests: 22 April 2010 - 26 April 2010, 30 April 2010 - 6 May 2010, 14 May 2010 - 20 May 2010, 11 June 2010 - 12 June 2010
  • Release date: September 15, 2010
  • Slogan: BLAZE THROUGH THE RESORT PARTY!

Info/Changes

  • New Songs: 64
  • Total Number of Songs: 629
  • New songs text are highlighted in blue, similar to that of IIDX 17 SIRIUS.
  • Has the longest title music, lasting at 51 seconds since AC DJ TROOPERS with 40 seconds.
  • Song wheel is now circular instead of vertical, similar to DDR's song wheel.
  • In-game score, stage, Hi-Speed, and BPM displays feature a new font.
  • In the location test, new songs had different splash screens, with white text on black backgrounds. The final version restores the white background with black text.
  • One of the first new Bemani releases to feature the PASELI e-money system.
  • Introduces Premium Free Mode, where the player plays for 8 minutes as opposed to 2 stages. A song in-game can be canceled by pressing the EFFECT and VEFX buttons simultaneously, however, the time spent during the song would still count as part of the 8 minutes.
  • Introduces DJ Order Mode, which is similar to pop'n music's Challenge mode, where a player can select missions (similar to pop'n's Normas) and earn DELLAR POINTS.
  • For the first time since AC Happy Sky, there aren't multiple Extra Stage / One More Extra Stage songs. All hidden songs are unlocked exclusively through Tours / beat unlocks, and unlocking songs through the former requires Dellar Points.
  • This is the first game since their debut to not feature a Y&Co. song on the default songlist, and the first game to not feature Osamu Migitera since AC 10th style.
  • Tatsh returns to IIDX for the first time since IIDX DistorteD CS.
