Unlock Information

pop'n music 6 CS contains a lot of song unlocks. Here is a list of how to unlock the songs, and how to do so.

Goal-Oriented Unlocks

pop'n music 6

Both of these songs will unlock on FINAL STAGE.

  • GIRLS POP:
    • clear ANIME HEROINE OR SAMBA on STAGE 1/2. Then select either MUSICAL or YODEL and clear it with 90,000+ points.
    • get a MAX COMBO of 250+ on STAGE 1, and 300+ on STAGE 2.
  • BLUES
    • score a perfect score (100,000) on STAGE 1 and then a MAX COMBO of at least 500 on STAGE 2.
    • get a comboined score of 66,666 points on STAGE 1 and 2 combined.
    • get a MAX COMBO of 6, 66, or 666 on STAGE 1/2.

pop'n music 6 CS

  • SPIRITUAL: play as TRAN [6] and clear SYMPATHY on STAGE 1. It will then appear on STAGE 2.
  • SWING: play as SANAE-chan [5], and on STAGE 1 get either a 3 or 6 for your MAX COMBO. It will then appear on STAGE 2.
  • KIDS: get a top score of 250,000 points or more in Normal Mode 9-LINE ARCADE play. It will appear on STAGE 1 on your next round.
  • MIND: play as BOY [6], and play a round of ARCADE getting a border clear (just one capsule above the passing threshold) on all three songs. It will appear on STAGE 1 on your next round.
  • OI PUNK: clear US HARD ROCK on STAGE 1, and MELO CORE on STAGE 2. It will then appear on FINAL STAGE.
  • CLASSIC 6: clear JODLER on STAGE 1 with 85,000+ points, and then ROMANCE KAYOU with a MAX COMBO of 60+ and 90,000+ points. as your second stage with a max combo of 60 or more and a score of 90,000+ points. It will then appear on FINAL STAGE.

pop'n stage

  • FUNK: select FAT BOY [5] as your character, and clear ROCK'N'ROLL on STAGE 1 or 2. It will then appear on FINAL STAGE.
  • SPANISH: clear ROMANCE KAYOU with 70,000+ points on STAGE 2. It will then appear on FINAL STAGE.
  • SKA CORE: play as Dami-yan [pns], and clear J-TEKNO on STAGE 1. It will then appear on STAGE 2.
  • KUNG-FU: play as any hidden pop'n stage character, and it will appear on STAGE 1.
  • FOLKY: clear STAGE 1 with a MAX COMBO of 49 or more, and it will then appear on STAGE 2.
  • REGGAE: clear SAMBA on STAGE 2 with a MAX COMBO of 38 or more, and it will then appear on FINAL STAGE.
  • J-DANCE: play as JUDY ([5] or [pns]), and it will then appear on STAGE 1.
  • HOUSE: clear SAZAE-SAN on either STAGE 1/2 with less than 33 BADs. It will then appear on FINAL STAGE.
  • 80's POP: get a score with a single 8 digit on STAGE 1. It will then appear on STAGE 2.
  • SCAT: play as SUMIRE [CS6] and clear SYMPATHY on STAGE 1 with 80,000+ points. It will then appear on STAGE 2.
  • TROPICAL: play as uowo [CS6], and it will appear on STAGE 1.

Course Unlocks

The following courses can be unlocked by fulfilling certain requirements:

  • Sana course: play the Parquets course at least once.
  • Mickey Masashi course: play FUNK ROCK and US HARD ROCK to unlock them for FREE MODE.
  • pop'n stage course: play HOUSE and FOLKY to unlock them for FREE MODE.
  • World course: clear two songs on the CS6 course.
  • Power course: clear POWER FOLK.
  • Girl course: unlock GIRLS ROCK and play it to unlock it in FREE MODE.
  • Rock course: clear HIP ROCK.
  • Secret course: play and unlock all of the arcade pop'n music 6 songs for play in FREE MODE except for BLUES and GIRLS POP.
  • Gambler course: unlock BLUES, and play it to unlock it in FREE MODE.
  • HELL-5: unlock and play all non-expert course songs to add them to FREE MODE.

Course-Oriented Unlocks

The following songs can be unlocked for FREE MODE by clearing the songs in specific courses. (Note that you don't need to clear the entire course to unlock a song, just the song itself in the course.) These songs can not be played in ARCADE, and cannot be time unlocked.

Play the following courses to unlock specific songs.

  • Euro course: EURO QUEEN, PARAPARA(H)
  • Gambler course: ANIME HERO (H), ANIME HERO R, HORROR

  • Mickey Masashi course: LATIN ROCK, PASSION(H)
  • Neo Aco course: MONDO POP, NEO ACO(H), POPS REMIX, SOFT ROCK
  • Parquets course: CELT, FRIENDLY, MAGICAL GIRL, SKY
  • Power course: POWER ACO(H), POWER FOLK 2
  • Rock course: GROOVE ROCK, HEAVY ROCK
  • Sana: GUITAR POP, J-GARAGE POP(H)
  • Secret course: BRIT POP, JUNGLE, LIVE, SPECIAL ENDING
  • Seiya course: COQUETTISH(H), HI-TENSION(H), NIGHT OUT
  • World course: KANGTONG(H), OKINAWA(H)

Time Unlocks

The following songs from pop'n music 6, new CS songs, and the pop'n stage crossovers can also be unlocked by playing ARCADE for a specific amount of time. Only time playing songs in ARCADE counts towards the total time.

  • 2 hours: SPANISH, FOLKY, FUNK
  • 2.5 hours: SKA CORE, KUNG FU
  • 3 hours: REGGAE, J-dance
  • 3.5 hours: SPIRITUAL, HOUSE
  • 4 hours: 80's Pop, SWING
  • 4.5 hours: SCAT, KIDS
  • 5 hours: OI PUNK, TROPICAL
  • 5.5 hours: MIND, GIRLS POP
  • 6 hours: CLASSIC 6, BLUES

EX Charts

Earn the point totals listed below in CHALLENGE MODE to unlock EXtra Stage for the following songs:

  • 25+ points: LIGHT FUSION, ENKA REMIX, CUBAN GROOVE, JODLER, HOUSE, MIND, & CLASSIC 6
  • 37+ points: COUNTRY & KIDS
  • 50+ points: POP BEATS
  • 62+ points: SAZAE-SAN
  • 75+ points: DIGI-POP
  • 87+ points: MOODY & OI PUNK
  • 100+ points: K-EURO
  • 112+ points: POWER FOLK 7
  • 125+ points: MELO CORE

MOODY, K-EURO, & MELO CORE's EX charts can also be unlocked in FREE by playing them in the HELL 6 course.
COUNTRY [EX] can also be unlocked in FREE by playing the song in the secret Sana course.
PERCUSSIVE [EX] can only be unlocked in FREE by playing it in the secret HELL 1-5 course.
