Biographical Information

One of the earliest and most influential artists in all of pop'n music, shio is responsible for many of the character design changes that went on throughout the series, starting with pop'n music 5. The characters' designs slowly changed from their early, beatmania-like appearances (which she also did the designs in) to a livelier, anime-inspired look. At her peak she was doing as much as half the character designs a game.

shio has also done videos for beatmania IIDX on and off since 8th style, mostly for wac songs. All her videos feature 2-D artwork, and all except Votum stellarum and 凛として咲く花のごとく thank her under other different aliases. She's also done a few videos for the GuitarFreaks & DrumMania series as well.
