    • U.S.: 5/15/2006

  • Backgrounds and generic background movies for songs have been removed. Instead, songs that don't have their own video instead have dancers dance in several different backdrops.
  • Playable characters return to the series for the first time since DanceDanceRevolution 5thMIX.
  • All previous Dancemania licenses have been removed from DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME.
    • In addition, all good-cool songs have been removed from the songlist.
  • Songs don't have little labels next to them on the banners next to them anymore that indicate what game/album they come from.

EXTRA STAGE

Like the last three arcade DanceDanceRevolution titles, to access the Extra Stage you must AA your last song on Expert or Challenge difficulty. If you play on Medium Mode, you get Healing-D-Vision. Play on Hard or All Music, and you get Fascination MAXX. Regardless of which song you play, you'll be forced on 1.5x and Reverse. Your dance gauge, as per usual in the Extra Stage, will not go up as you play.

ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE

To access the One More Extra Stage, you must pass either Healing-D-Vision or Fascination MAXX as your Extra Stage. You will then start playing CHAOS on Sudden Death (one Good/Boo/Miss/N.G., and the song ends).

Removed Songs

To be updated.
