beatmania IIDX 20th Anniversary Tribute BEST is a three-disc anthology album produced in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the beatmania IIDX series. The first two discs contain songs from previous beatmania IIDX releases with one disc spanning each decade, compiled through a balance of fan-submitted votes and other such means. The third disc contains remixes of beatmania IIDX songs by a mixture of artists, including those who have more recently been writing songs for the beatmania IIDX series as well as members of EDP, and even younger in-house composers. Although the album is heavily promoted through EDP, it is listed as being published by EXIT TUNES's parent company, PONY CANYON.
