Goli Matsumoto, usually known as simply GOLI, is one of beatmania IIDX's most well-known illustrators. Having joined the staff in early 1999 for [[AC substream|beatmania IIDX substream]], beatmania IIDX's iconic cast of DJ characters were all designed and illustrated by him. He was best known in the early games for his anime-inspired, cel-shaded art style, though his style has become more stylized since then, even venturing into dark black-and-white imagery and creating many monster designs as well as humans. His art has ranged from the classical Japanese art style evident in [[KAMIKAZE]] to the realistic style of the [[beatmania IIDX 12 HAPPY SKY ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK]] cover, reminiscent of an '80s pop idol album.
