General Information / Changes
- Heavily upgraded version of beatmania IIDX INFINITAS, with the following differences:
- The game can now run at up to 120 Hz, similar to the beatmania IIDX LIGHTNING MODEL cabinets introduced with beatmania IIDX 27 HEROIC VERSE.
- A redesigned interface, with new font for music levels.
- R-RAN and ASSISTED EASY options.
- New system BGM by HuΣeR.
- The same system BGM would later be used as one of the STEP UP mode BGM in beatmania IIDX 29 CastHour, making it the first time a system BGM from a console-original game is used in an arcade release.
- Like the original INFINITAS, the 2020 upgrade requires the コナステ (KONAMI AMUSEMENT GAME STATION) service to run.
- A monthly subscription costs 1628 yen/PASELI.
- Despite this, you can still download the installer without a subscription, as the trial mode is now included in the main launcher.
- The shortcut icon included after installation takes you to a webpage to then load either the trial or full version.
- All data, including scores, DJ POINTS, clear status, and BITs, transfer over from the original INFINITAS.
- All INFINITAS tickets from the original game transfer over here as well.
- Similar to SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS コナステ, songs must be downloaded the first time you play them, including their charts, videos, and overlays if a song has them.
- If movies are turned off, it will not download the video and overlays.
- If a song has a generic video shared with a song already downloaded, it will not have to redownload it.
- If playing a course, all needed data for all songs in the course will be downloaded before the first song starts.
- If a song requires BITs to unlock its chart, it's now listed right below that song, as opposed to the top center of the screen.
- BEGINNER difficulty is now available; however, these charts are only accessible in the ALL BEGINNER folder, similar to beatmania IIDX arcade games prior to HEROIC VERSE. These must be unlocked with BITs like other songs (sans default songs).
- BITs cannot be earned from BEGINNER charts as they do not have clear lamp missions available.
- They also aren't shown in the CLEAR or DJ LEVEL folders.
- New songs are labeled in purple.
- Songs were not re-rated from the original INFINITAS.
- The Quick Retry feature was added on December 2nd, 2020. It can be activated by holding Esc or E2 on a dedicated controller after triggering the STAGE FAILED animation or after leaving the results screen.
- New features added on February 3rd, 2021:
- Lane brightness can now be adjusted.
- An AUTOSCRATCH display option is now available. Turning it on will hide scratches when AUTOSCRATCH is on.
- HI-SPEED and SUDDEN+/HIDDEN+ settings now display all BPM changes.
- New features added on April 7th, 2021:
- A preview of the first notes, a feature introduced in Rootage, is now visible. It can be turned on or off on the customization page of INFINITAS, but by default it will display on songs rated level 5 or lower.
- GROOVE GAUGE options added: A (show gauge and percentage), B (hide the gauge itself), or C (hide the gauge and percentage).
- Customization features from PENDUAL through CANNON BALLERS, including full combo splashes, lane colors, turn tables, and explosions, were added on April 27th, 2021.
- BGM selection feature was added on June 9th, 2021. These can be cycled anytime in-game on the music selection screen.
- Unlike previous updates of customizations, though, these can only be purchased with PASELI/credit cards, as opposed to BITs.
- At launch, the default BGMs from SIRIUS through CANNON BALLERS were added. The SINOBUZ BGM uses only the Wednesday version theme.
- BGMs from IIDX RED through EMPRESS, and Rootage, were added on July 27th, 2022.
- BGMs from 7th through 10th style, and HEROIC VERSE, were added on April 26th, 2023.
- Effector options were added to the game on July 28th, 2021.
- New features/changes added on April 20th, 2022:
- Gameplay UI and results screen were redesigned to match that of beatmania IIDX 29 CastHour; Money Score and MAX COMBO have been removed.
- Automatic judgement timing adjustment and classic HI-SPEED settings were also added.
- Speed settings can now be done to 0.01.
- 83 old songs are added to the default song list, bringing the total number of songs to 131.
- EX-HARD can now be selected in the Dan / CLASS mode, but not MIRROR.
- Several old songs were re-rated as well, to match their more current arcade counterparts.
- Following the re-ratings of 5.1.1. single NORMAL, GAMBOL, I Was The One, KEEP ON MOVIN', and Tangerine Stream on April 20th, 2022, 5.1.1.'s Double NORMAL chart is now the only beatmania IIDX INFINITAS (2020) non-BEGINNER level 1 chart on its default song list.
- First PC BEMANI release to get a South Korean release via USTA Games, as confirmed here.
- Music Pack Folders functionality was added on December 21st, 2022, adding folders containing songs from previously purchased Music Packs.
- Options to change the colors of Ghost Scores and HELL CHARGE NOTES, and to toggle the brightness of explosion beams were added on April 26th, 2023.
- The following features are added/changed on July 26th, 2023:
- LEGGENDARIA charts are now playable, which require L-Discs to play (one INFINITAS ticket gives the player five L-Discs).
- Similar to INFINITAS tickets, L-Discs expire 180 days after purchase.
- BEGINNER chart scores and clear lamps are now saved.
- Similar to beatmania IIDX 27 HEROIC VERSE and later, BEGINNER and LEGGENDARIA charts are displayed alongside the other charts.
- Song sorting by BPM, chart difficulty level, and unlocking conditions are added.
- REPEAT and REWARD missions have been removed, and BITS are now rewarded for simply clearing songs. ACHIEVEMENT missions remain unchanged.
- LEGGENDARIA charts are now playable, which require L-Discs to play (one INFINITAS ticket gives the player five L-Discs).
- Seven more LEGGENDARIA charts were added to the game on December 21st, 2023: Abyss -The Heavens Remix-, CaptivAte2～覚醒～, Do it!! Do it!!, EDEN, four pieces of heaven, Scripted Connection⇒ A mix, and ZERO-ONE.
- While EDEN, four pieces of heaven and Scripted Connection⇒ A mix are from the arcade, the other four are exclusive to INFINITAS (2020) as of this time.
- New features/changes added on March 13th, 2024:
- Resolution is increased to 1920x1080, now matching beatmania IIDX 30 RESIDENT.
- New BGM theme, intro, fonts, as well as a new UI skin.
- The options menu now matches the new menu introduced in beatmania IIDX 31 EPOLIS.
- BIT Boost is now easily accessible by pressing 1 on the Options menu.
- FAST/SLOW now has an option to display separately for keys and scratches.
- Additional BIT unlock songs were made default bringing the total default song list up to 161.
- Gameplay changes:
- Rival data and personal bests now show what mods were used under their score graphs.
- Data saved before this update will show a dash where the mod display would be.
- Rival data and personal bests now show what mods were used under their score graphs.
- CLASS mode changes:
- Each CLASS course has changed for the first time since CLASS mode was added to INFINITAS.
- The result screen now shows the song and difficulty for each stage.
- Can now use MIRROR as an option.

Trial Mode
Unlike the old version of INFINITAS, the main game client can be installed by any user logged in with their KONAMI ID. The webpage launcher includes an option to launch a trial mode of the game. Trial Mode allows the user to select a play side and play one stage from a choice of the following songs on BEGINNER difficulty only:

- Amazing Mirage
- Elisha
- FLOWER
- Turii ~Panta rhei~
- V
- 凛として咲く花の如く
- Mermaid girl
- SigSig
All normal player options are available, and once the stage is finished, the GAME OVER screen will appear and the program will exit.
