Extras

Drill Mode
A collection of 'stages' that helps newer players break down and understand certain patterns found throughout the game. Drill mode is divided into three sections. The first section covers basic patterns, such as simple drum rolls. The second section builds on basic patterns to create more complicated patterns. The third section is a challenge section, with drills such as "Get a 573 combo on a simplified version of Summer Vacation", or "Get 35 or more greats+just greats on a part of Kocchi wo Muite yo with HS1+Hidden". There are three slots for different players to save their results in drill mode, and the game tracks the player's total ex score across all drills and provides an Internet Ranking password.
Original Course Setting
Allows the user to create custom expert courses. Must be unlocked first.
Ranking Course
Creates four special expert courses that are comprised of the user's 20 most-played songs (Platinum contains the 1st-5th most played songs, Gold contains the 6th-10th, etc.)
Tatsujin Movie
beatmaniaIIDX 6th style -new songs collection- includes 15 video clips of two of the then-best IIDX players in the world playing various songs on 6th style. LISU, the world's most famous one-handed player, and AGOP, the then-best overall IIDX player, AAA and/or full combo difficult songs before your amazed eyes.
Music Clip Mode
Allows the game to be played with the background videos in full-screen mode. Alternately, autoplay can be enabled to allow the user to just watch the videos and not worry about hitting the notes.
Gallery Collection
An unlockable gallery of all of the result screen pictures in the game (plus a number of result screens that are exclusive to the home version).
