General Information / Changes

  • Announced on July 12th, 2018 [1].
  • Players are now able to change the user interface design from the option screen, much like in GuitarFreaksXG2 & DrumManiaXG2 Groove to Live: Attack effect (during Battle Mode), notes, judgment effect, combo display, shutter, character in charge, and progress gauge.
  • An "Easy Assist" (かんたんアシスト) option is available, which allows players to auto-play a specific lane.
  • Deluxe Mode returns, again PASELI only in Japan, and once more 1.5 times more to play than a regular round.
    • FLOOR INFECTION songs cannot be unlocked via Deluxe, much like in GITADORA Matixx.
    • Deluxe cannot be selected if all hidden songs are unlocked.
    • The Deluxe kaikin challenge campaign (Deluxe解禁チャレンジキャンペーン) was introduced, allowing players, for limited periods, to unlock most Matixx hidden songs, as well as Just Believe.
  • System music was composed by Yvya.
  • e-amusement support for GITADORA EXCHAIN ended on November 30th, 2021.

ENCORE/PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE

ENCORE/PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE Requirements

  • ENCORE STAGE: Fill the ENCORE gauge to 100% over a playthrough, where for a given song each grade gives the player a certain percentage (Long Version songs give double percentage):
    • SS = 52.17%, S = 34.78%, A = 30.43%, B = 26.09%, C = 17.39%.

When accessed, an ENCORE STAGE-specific song may be played in addition to any song on the regular song list.

  • PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE: Obtain 95% of PERFECTs on an ENCORE STAGE-specific song (marked in red on the song list) without using any Auto modes. When accessed, the PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE (and only the PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE) will be made playable up to the highest difficulty level played on ENCORE STAGE.

Each time the player fails to advance to the PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE from ENCORE STAGE, the required PERFECT rate goes down by 1% each time, to a maximum of 5% less.

In addition, the following event specific ENCORE/PREMIUM ENCORE STAGEs have their own requirements:

  • GF&DM CHRONICLE ENCORE/PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE: For the ENCORE STAGE, first unlock all GF&DM CHRONICLE songs of the respective Part of the ENCORE STAGE that you are accessing. For the PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE, clear the respective ENCORE STAGE song with a certain percentage of PERFECTs (percentages vary depending on the PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE song being accessed; for more information, see each song's article).
  • 追憶のギタドラ PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE: Clear the respective Tsuioku no GITADORA (追憶のギタドラ) Part 1 song of the PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE that is being accessed as an ENCORE STAGE with a 95% of PERFECTs. Note that all GF&DM CHRONICLE songs available for unlock at the time of the release of each song must have been unlocked beforehand:
    • 2010～2012: all GF&DM CHRONICLE Part 5 songs.
    • 2013～2018: all GF&DM CHRONICLE Part 6 songs.

In July 31st, 2019, ENCORE CHANCE is introduced. An "ENCORE CHANCE" icon will be displayed during one GF&DM CHRONICLE/追憶のギタドラ ENCORE STAGE song (the song with the icon will be different in every credit). Clearing a song with the ENCORE CHANCE icon with 85% PERFECTs will allow access to its respective PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE, instead of the regular 95% PERFECTs.
