Time to Air has been unlocked for normal play with the release of beat#1 on February 13th, 2008, leaving PARANOiA ～HADES～ unplayable.

MILITARY SPLASH

MILITARY SPLASH is the primary unlock event in DJ TROOPERS. The event is split into two different phases, with the second phase beginning immediately after completing the first. The first phase focuses on crossovers from other BEMANI games, while the second phase consists of new boss songs.

As of beat#1 (February 13th, 2008), the ANOTHER chart for MENDES can now be played.

All the MILITARY SPLASH songs were unlocked for normal play with the release of beat#2 on March 26th, 2008.

MILITARY SPLASH #1

TRIP MACHINE PhoeniX

• Clear a certain number of songs from each style's folder (except DJ TROOPERS') with a certain clear lamp (and score). Clear lamps carried over from older versions count once you record a score for that chart on DJ TROOPERS, regardless of what clear type you get.
  • NORMAL: Get an EASY clear or higher on two songs from each folder.
  • HYPER: Get a normal clear or higher on two songs from each folder.
  • ANOTHER:
    • SP: HARD clear or FULL COMBO two songs from each folder with an A rank or higher.
    • DP: HARD clear or FULL COMBO one song from each folder.

Übertreffen

• Clear 35 (30 for ANOTHER) new songs from DJ TROOPERS. Hidden songs, the three different versions of REMINISCENCE and songs FULL COMBOed in EXPERT mode count towards this goal.

ミラージュ・レジデンス

• Get a PERFECT BONUS or BORDER BONUS on one song. Any gauge can be used (note that you cannot get a BORDER BONUS while using the HARD gauge).

If you meet certain conditions when playing a song from the MILITARY SPLASH folder, you will get a medal that is shown on the upper right of the screen. The conditions are different for each difficulty:

• NORMAL: Clear the song on EASY gauge or higher with any score.
• HYPER: Clear the song on normal gauge or higher with a AA or higher.
• ANOTHER: Clear the song on HARD gauge with a AA or higher.

After medals have been obtained for each song, when the folder is accessed again, TROOPERS will be available to play as the ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE with HARD forced on. Once TROOPERS is cleared on any difficulty, the first phase of the event ends, and TROOPERS can be played on the EXTRA STAGE. If you fail to clear TROOPERS, you will have to obtain the medals again before playing it.

After TROOPERS is cleared, you will immediately proceed to the next phase of the event. All difficulties are available to unlock regardless of what difficulty TROOPERS was cleared on.

• Clear all songs whose artist or title includes the word "lion".
  • Eligible songs include: Clione, ライオン好き, and songs by Lion Musashi (GET ON BEAT (WILD STYLE), THE SAFARI and thunder).

ICARUS

• Play 20 songs from the HAPPY SKY folder and all songs with the word "sky" in the title.
  • The four songs with "sky" in the title are: EMPTY OF THE SKY, Look To The Sky (cyber True Color), Skyscraper and Under the Sky. Note that Skyscraper and Look To The Sky (cyber True Color) do not have DP ANOTHER charts and are not needed for that goal.
  • Under the Sky and EMPTY OF THE SKY are counted towards both goals.
  • In the Sky does not count towards this goal.

STEEL NEEDLE

• Get a score on a song that is right on the border for an A, AA or AAA rank. Alternatively, get the MAX score for a song (all PGREATs).

Once medals are obtained for all four songs using the same conditions from phase 1, you can play MENDES as the ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE. Unlike TROOPERS, MENDES is not unlocked after it has been cleared, and you must obtain medals for the four songs again whenever you want to play it.
