General Information / Changes

  • New Songs: 216 (as of October 1st, 2013; includes removed songs)
  • Total Number of Songs: 309 (as of October 1st, 2013)
  • First jubeat game since the original jubeat to have BEMANI crossovers.
  • First jubeat game to have a "splash" animation display on the screen when a FULL COMBO is achieved, similar to beatmania IIDX and DanceDanceRevolution.
  • First jubeat game to not include a new classical piece arrangement by Mutsuhiko Izumi.
  • The unlock system of jubeat saucer is called bistro saucer. You need to collect ingredients and make dishes to feed gourmets.
    • Previously locked songs can now also be unlocked via bistro saucer, in addition to playing FULL COMBO challenges and matching against someone who has that song.
  • jubeat saucer introduces the song swap system. Every month, jubeat saucer refreshes its song list by swapping existing songs with 15 to 20 new ones. These songs can be licenses, BEMANI crossovers, revivals, or entirely new songs.
    • This makes it the first BEMANI game to remove songs through online updates.
    • It is also the first jubeat game to remove Konami original songs.
  • This is the first jubeat game to have two seperate artists composing its system music (Mutsuhiko Izumi and Shigeharu Saeki).
  • Since October 1st, 2013, you can also play user-submitted charts from jubeat Lab. on jubeat saucer, created on the iPad version of jubeat plus. This is similar to the old DanceDanceRevolution EDIT MODE.

Tsugidoka! (つぎドカ!)

Four songs (Cosmic Hurricane, snow prism, 紅焔 and 恋閃繚乱) debuted on December 19th, 2012 in pop'n music Sunny Park, REFLEC BEAT colette, DanceDanceRevolution X3 VS 2ndMIX, and (in the case of Cosmic Hurricane and snow prism, remixed in) GuitarFreaksXG3 & DrumManiaXG3 simultaneously.

The Tsugidoka! song which got the most plays on all games combined as of January 8th, 2013 was transplanted to jubeat saucer on January 9th. The winner song was 紅焔. The other Tsugidoka! songs were added to jubeat saucer on February 2013.

These songs can be unlocked on 04/01/2013 as part of a crossover event with REFLEC BEAT colette -Spring-. To unlock the songs, play the two games until Pastel-kun completes the required number of rounds around the track.

(For anemone and ZZ, Smith-shi must also complete the required number of rounds.)

Private BEMANI Academy (私立BEMANI学園)

The Private BEMANI Academy event consists on raising the Friendship between two artists to 100% in order to unlock a certain song. You need to check the Private BEMANI Academy eAMUSEMENT site after you've reached 100% to claim an unlock.

You can raise the Friendship degree by playing either beatmania IIDX 20 tricoro, DanceDanceRevolution (2013), GITADORA, jubeat saucer, pop'n music Sunny Park or REFLEC BEAT colette -Spring-. Certain games will raise the Friendship degree of two artists faster than on the other BEMANI games. For more information, please see its own page.

Songs are ordered from the one that gives you more Friendship (and as such, you can unlock it faster in jubeat saucer), to the one that gives you the least.

To unlock Elemental Creation, you must have unlocked all the previous 9 Private BEMANI Academy songs, then you need to raise the Friendship degree of dj TAKA and DJ YOSHITAKA to 100%.

The fourth part of the FLOOR INFECTION event, and the first part for the jubeat series. It started on July 22nd, 2013 and ended on August 5th, 2013.

Similar to the other FLOOR INFECTION parts, playing SOUND VOLTEX II -infinite infection- will raise the infection level and unlock the following songs from SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH:

bistro saucer

jubeat saucer's unlock system is known as bistro saucer. During the result screens, you will be brought to bistro saucer, where the ingredients you collected will be made into a dish. Each song you play will give you a piece of an ingredient. Dishes come in 4 sizes: small, medium, large, and special. Small size dishes unlock the songs the slowest, while special unlock them the fastest. Once a dish is completed, you can choose to feed the dish to one of 4 gourmets in bistro saucer.

The gourmets have their own preferences. Feeding them their favorite food will boost the satisfaction rate while feeding them something they hate will cause the satisfaction rate to rise slowly. Once the gourmet has a satisfaction rate of 100%, the song is then unlocked.

To unlock the final songs of each bistro saucer set, you must unlock the other songs of that bistro saucer set first.

There is no bistro saucer set for March, June and August 2013.
