General Information / Changes

• satfinal's overlay has been edited to comply with the CERO rating system.
• I'm In Love Again -DJ YOSHITAKA REMIX- is absent from the songlisy, making it the first KONAMI original since beatmania IIDX 4th style CS not to be included in its CS beatmania IIDX counterpart.
• First CS beatmania IIDX game with Black ANOTHER charts, which are harder version of a song's ANOTHER charts playable in FREE MODE.
  • The concept was first introduced in beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD CS as course-exclusive charts for a couple of songs.
• CS originals appear on the Visual Emotions 7 DVD and the beatmania IIDX CS Collection -GOLD,DJ TROOPERS,EMPRESS- album.

Unlock Information

Song Unlocks

All Song Unlock (except THE LAST STRIKER)

To unlock all songs (except THE LAST STRIKER):

1. At the Edit Arcade Rival screen, set your five rivals so that the first letter of their names are BM2DX, in order.
2. Then go to FREE MODE and play songs that start with the letters in BEATFREE, using all 3 song that start with E (evergreen, end of world, エコ爺).
3. This will unlock all songs in the game except for THE LAST STRIKER, as well as unlock all of the Black ANOTHER charts.

Ending Based

REPLAY / SLAKE - Get ENDING once.
Saturn / Mr.Saturn - Get ENDING three times.
BRAINSTORM / Hardcore United Tokyo (teranoid & DJ TECHNORCH) - Get ENDING five times.

To get the ENDING, either clear STANDARD MODE or finish a course in EXPERT/CLASS MODE.

EXPERT/CLASS HIDDEN SONGS

• SWITCH / RAM - Play SWITCH in 2-kyu in CLASS MODE.
• Rise'n Beauty / Sota Fujimori- Play Rise'n Beauty in 2-dan in CLASS MODE or the GLARE course in EXPERT MODE.

MILITARY SPLASH HIDDEN SONGS

Conditions to unlocking songs:

1. 573 combo exactly (requires passing the song).
2. Get a score is exactly on the border of a DJ LEVEL (including MAX Score, requires passing the song).
3. Get a BORDER CLEAR BONUS.
4. Clear 40 charts (any type of clear works, including ASSIST CLEAR).
5. FULL COMBO 10 charts.
6. Get 1000 GREATs on scratches.

• Clear one condition and get four medals to get IMPLANTATION / TOMOSUKE.
• Clear two conditions and get five medals to get ƒƒƒƒƒ / Five Hammer.
• Clear three conditions and get six medals to get 子供の落書き帳 / 佐々木博史.
• Clear four conditions and get seven medals to get Pluto / Black∞Hole.
• Clear five conditions and get eight medals to get VOX UP / sampling masters MEGA vs. 青龍.

The Last Song

THE LAST STRIKER / L.E.D. - After unlocking VOX UP, in MUSIC SELECT:

1. Hover over a song beginning with F and hit the SELECT button
2. Hover over a song beginning with O and hit the SELECT button
3. Hover over a song beginning with R and hit the SELECT button
4. Hover over a song beginning with E and hit the SELECT button
5. Hover over a song beginning with V and hit the SELECT button
6. Hover over a song beginning with E and hit the SELECT button
7. Hover over a song beginning with R and hit the SELECT button

You will immediately have THE LAST STRIKER selected if correct.

黒ANOTHER Charts

For songs with 黒ANOTHER (also known as BLACK ANOTHER or KURO-ANOTHER) charts, either clear the ANOTHER chart of that song in any mode or play them in CLASS mode. Assist options such as 5KEY, AUTO SCRATCH and EASY are allowed.

Hidden Commands

EXTRA STAGE BGM/MILITARY SPLASH in FREE MODE

1. Go into FREE MODE and select options.
2. Go to start, and immediately press and hold the START and SELECT buttons.
3. The EXTRA STAGE BGM and animation will be on, and MILITARY SPLASH can be accessed.

Note: This can only be accessed once per play. Playing MILITARY SPLASH in FREE MODE will not earn you any medals.

REMINISCENCE

Select the song then immediately HOLD SELECT, then either:

• Turn the turntable counter-clockwise to get the 002 // life version.
• Turn the turntable clockwise to get the 003 // destiny version.

REGUL-SPEED

1. Hover over a song beginning with R and hit the SELECT button
2. Hover over a song beginning with E and hit the SELECT button
3. Hover over a song beginning with G and hit the SELECT button

The option will be activated. Scores and clears will not save while this is on.

ALL-SCRATCH

1. Hover over a song beginning with A and hit the SELECT button
2. Hover over a song beginning with S and hit the SELECT button
3. Hover over a song beginning with C and hit the SELECT button
4. Hover over a song beginning with R and hit the SELECT button

The option will take effect while S-Random is active. Scores and clears will not save while this is on.

RED/HOLD OPTION SELECT

Certain modifiers can be altered further. The following options turn red and do the following when you hold the key down on that option:

• HAZARD MODE: Hold down on the HARD modifier.
• RANDOM/MIRROR with scratch: Hold down on the appropriate modifier.
• 5-KEY+: hold down on the 5KEYS modifier upon selecting. This will allow you to play the original charts for the classic beatmania songs, as well as gentle stress.

GAMBOL HYPER Timing

1. Hover over a song beginning with G and hit the SELECT button
2. Hover over a song beginning with J and hit the SELECT button
3. Hover over a song beginning with H and hit the SELECT button

The option will be activated.

GAMBOL ANOTHER Timing:

1. Hover over a song beginning with G and hit the SELECT button
2. Hover over a song beginning with J and hit the SELECT button

EXTRA STAGE

DJ TROOPERS has three types of EXTRA STAGEs.

Normal EXTRA STAGE

To acquire the normal EXTRA STAGE (just a fourth stage to choose), your final song must meet one of these requirements:

• Level 5-6: FULL COMBO
• Level 7: 100% gauge CLEAR
• Level 8+: CLEAR

Time to Air

The three songs played must meet these requirements:

1. They must all be cleared with an AA or higher (INCLUDING the third one).
2. The combined difficulties of the three songs played should be 10 or higher on Single Play and 7 or higher on Double Play.
3. None of the following mods may be used: RANDOM, MIRROR, 5KEY and A-SCR on Single Play, and in addition BATTLE on Double Play.
4. The third song must meet EXTRA STAGE requirements.

NOTE: The difficulties of Time to Air you are allowed to play are influenced by the combined total of the difficulties of the previous 3 songs: 10SP/7DP for Normal, 20SP/17DP for Normal/Hyper and 30SP/27DP for Normal/Hyper/Another.

Military Splash

The three songs' difficulties must add up to 21 or more on Single Play and 18 or more on Double Play, The third stage must meet Extra Stage requirements.

One More Extra Stages

PARANOiA ～HADES～

Clear Time to Air[a] with an A or higher using the HARD mod, and without using RANDOM, MIRROR, 5KEY and A-SCR in Single Play and in addition not using BATTLE in Double Play.

TROOPERS

Get a medal on all Military Splash #1 stages, this song will start automatically as an OMES. Get the requirements for a medal on it and you will unlock Military Splash #2.

MENDES

Get a medal on all Military Splash #2 stages, this song will start automatically as an OMES.

Medal Requirements

Warning: This information may or may not be correct.

• For both Single and Double: RANDOM, MIRROR, 5-KEY/5-KEY+, and ALL-SCRATCH must be off.
  • Also, for Double: BATTLE must.
• NORMAL: CLEAR
