Lincle Kingdom is the unlock event of beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle. Phase 1 started on September 28th, 2011, and Phase 2 started on November 16th, 2011. This event will only appear if you play a one-player round of STANDARD. eAMUSEMENT is required to play the event.
At the start of each playthrough, the player can choose among the following dungeons (the first three are removed upon starting Phase 2):
* Lost Forest (迷いの森): high experience rates but low DELLAR.
* Dimmish Pond (仄暗い沼): higher encounter rates for rare enemies.
* Accursed Mountain (呪いの山): higher DELLAR rates but low experience.
* Tower of PASELI (PASELIの塔, requires DJ VIP PASS with PASELI): clear one whole set of songs per round (including EXTRA STAGE if obtained), and you will go up a floor. Higher floors reward much bigger rewards from rare enemies than the other dungeons. Phase 1 has 50 floors, and Phase 2 has 99.
When playing a song, your Q-Pro and the enemy will be displayed at the bottom of the movie in the center of the screen (or lower left if playing Double). Clearing a song (score/grade does not matter) destroys an enemy and gains experience and DELLAR; failure results in the Q-Pro retreating, with no rewards.

After each playthrough, the player will be shown how much experience and DELLAR they obtained for the session. Acquiring enough experience levels up the character and unlocks rewards, including the access of playing boss songs during EXTRA STAGE. The maximum level your Q-Pro can be is 99. Progress is shared between Single and Double play styles.

The goal in Lincle Kingdom is you, the player, must save the kingdom from invasion by the devilish villains. At the start of a credit, you select a dungeon and then fight the enemies in that dungeon to advance the game. You can select one of three dungeons, which offer varaible rewards:
At Level 6, Q-Pro is able to access new dungeons, each named after the seven deadly sins (except gluttony). Playing a full set of four songs, regardless of difficulty or clear, will award a fragment for that particular dungeon. Prior to July 19th, 2012, a condition for a full set of four songs must also be satisfied for each of the dungeon, as follows:

* Lost forest (迷いの森): get lots of experience, but little DELLAR.
{|class="wikitable" border="1px" style="background:#ccccee; font-size:90%; text-align: center; margin: 1em auto 1em auto"
* Dark swamp (仄暗い沼): rare enemy encounter rates are high, which reward you more DELLAR and experience for defeating.

Afterwards, you play a regular round, with the Q-Pro and enemy characters displayed at the bottom of the movie in the center of the screen (or lower left if playing Double) as you play. Clearing a song destroys an enemy; failing results in you escaping. Scores and difficulty have no effect on defeating, but failing to clear songs results in you getting nothing. If you fail all songs on a credit, you will gain nothing for that credit.
Accumulating a certain amount of fragments (five for NORMAL, ten for HYPER, and 15 for ANOTHER) in at least one boss dungeon will unlock the Ancient Shrine (太古の神殿)/Ancient Ruins (太古の遺跡). When selected, the player will be forced to play a boss song during EXTRA STAGE. All boss songs only show their artist name, not the song title. To obtain a feather for a boss, the player must clear the song with a certain DJ Level and gauge. Amulets can also be purchased through the game's website, which can be used for simplifying acquisition conditions. The number of rivals required must also be set in order for the equipped amulet to take effect. These conditions are:

After a round of play, you will return to the event screen, your overall experience and DELLAR are displayed, and you will level up if you have enough experience points. (Game progress is shared between Single and Double.) As you level up, you can obtain revivals, CS crossovers, more rivals to join you to fight in the dungeons and, most importantly, the ability to unlock the boss songs of Lincle Kingdom on EXTRA STAGE. Level 99 is the maximum level that can be reached.

Here are the regular Lincle Kingdom level unlocks:
For the hidden boss songs Beridzebeth (for Phase 1) and Neulakyussra (Phase 2), the feathers for that respective set of songs must be obtained for a particular difficulty. Failing to meet the condition for these bosses will forfeit all the feathers obtained for that particular set and difficulty. Clearing Beridzebeth at least once unlocks Phase 2, and acquiring all eight feathers allows the player to challenge Cuvelia on ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE on the same difficulty Neulakyussra was cleared (along with the forfeiture of Phase 2 feathers if failed). Once the feather for each of the respective bosses is acquired, that song can be played on EXTRA STAGE without any penalty of forfeiture of feathers.
As of January 26th, 2012, boss songs can now be unlocked for regular play through purchasing Devil cards via DELLAR (basic eAMUSEMENT subscription is required). Costs for HYPER and ANOTHER charts are worth twice and thrice the amount for NORMAL charts respectively: Phase 1 boss songs cost 10000 DELLAR, Phase 2 songs 20000, and Cuvelia 30000. Unlocking these charts is also required to unlock the EXPERT courses DEVIL (Phase 1 songs) and KINGDOM (Phase 2 songs and Cuvelia).

* LEVEL 40 - New land, Sea of Envy (嫉妬の海), unlocked. Can now unlock NNRT.
* LEVEL 43 - ability to add a third friend (rival) to accompany you, conditions for Phase 2 wing acquisitions eased.
* LEVEL 46 - New land, Volcano of Wrath (憤怒の火山), unlocked. Can now unlock The Limbo.
* LEVEL 50 - ability to add a fourth friend (rival) to accompany you, conditions for Phase 2 feather acquisitions further eased.

To get the feathers needed for the Lincle Kingdom boss songs, you must play on the map of the select sin's area. Seven of the nine major bosses of Lincle Kingdom are based on the seven deadly sins: greed, lust, sloth, gluttony, pride, envy, wrath, along with two others: Narakasura and Cybele. What difficulty you can unlock depends on how many feathers you earn: five for NORMAL, ten for HYPER, and 15 for ANOTHER. (While you can collect more than 15 for some requirements, excess ones will do nothing.) Amulets can be purchased to make conditions and unlocks easier. Each Phase has its own set of amulets: Phase 1 has two (Soldier and Gladitor), and Phase 2 has three (Holy Knight, Sage, and Conqueror). These could all be purchased on the Lincle shop on the game's website.

The condition to make each Lincle Kingdom boss song appear on EXTRA STAGE are as follows. Each requirement can only be once used once for each song.

* Abandoned capital of Greed (強欲の廃都) / Mamonis - must reach level 6
** Play a round of songs all from the same style up to EXTRA STAGE.

* Grotto of Lust (色欲の洞窟) / Ashemu - must reach level 14
** Play a round of songs of the same genre up to EXTRA STAGE.
** NOTE: Genres spelled differently from one another (i.e. DRUM'N'BASS and DRUM & BASS) count as separate genres.

* Iceberg of Sloth (怠惰の氷山) / Bulluvegola - must reach level 20
** Play a round of songs from the same artist up to EXTRA STAGE.
** NOTE: Artist names spelled differently or slightly different (i.e. L.E.D. vs. L.E.D.-G) count as separate artists.

* Ancient Temple (太古の神殿) / Beridzebeth
** Only appears when you collect the feathers of the three previous songs. Which difficulty you can play depends on which feathers you acquired.
** Clearing at least one chart of Beridzebeth is required to move on to Phase 2.
** NOTE: If you fail Beridzebeth, you'll need to reobtain feathers to play it again.

* Magic Castle of Pride (傲慢の魔城) / Rche - must reach level 37
** Play a round of songs with the same number of characters up to EXTRA STAGE. Spaces and symbols count as one character.

* Sea of Envy (嫉妬の海) / Levaslater - must reach level 40
** Play a round of songs with the same number of notes in the 100s (i.e. playing a set of songs with 900-999 notes).
** NOTE: Using ASSIST options does not change the overall notecount.

* Volcano of Wrath (憤怒の火山) / STN - must reach level 46
** In a round of play, choose any song you wish for FIRST STAGE, and then have your next song after begin with the last letter of the previous song. On FINAL STAGE, you choose a song with the first letter of the FIRST STAGE song you chose to form a loop.

* Judgement / Neulakyussra - must acquire the charts of Rche, Levaslater, and STN first.
** Only appears when you collect the feathers from Rche, Levaslater, and STN. Which difficulty you can play depends on which feathers you acquired.
** NOTE: If you fail Neulakyussra, you'll need to reobtain the feathers from Rche, Levaslater, and STN to play it again.

* Rebirth / Cuvelia (ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE)
** Only appears when you collect the feathers from all eight previous Lincle Kingdom boss songs. Which difficulty you can play depends on which feathers you acquired.
** NOTE: If you fail Cuvelia, you'll need to reobtain the feathers from Rche, Levaslater, STN, and Neulakyussra to play it again.

In addition to satisfying EXTRA STAGE requirements, you must also do the following in a credit to acquire feathers as well. Using MIRROR, RANDOM, or ASSIST are forbidden.

* Phase 1
** NORMAL
*** Clear gauge: EX-HARD (lv. 1-12), HARD with one rival (lv.12-21), none with two rivals (lv. 22-)

*** DJ LEVEL: AAA (no amulet), AA or higher (Holy Knight amulet), A or higher (Sage amulet), none (Champion amulet)

NOTE: Unless you have the Champion amulet, you must meet the highest DJ LEVEL requirements for Cuvelia to access it in Phase 2. You will not be able to unlock the song otherwise.

Other Unlocks
* The Sampling Paradise / Scharfrichter / In the Blackest Den / Seijin no tou - 10000 (NORMAL), 20000 (HYPER), 30000 (ANOTHER)
Roots26 songs
From July 12th, 2012, the requirements have been greatly reduced, and now you only need to play four songs to unlock feathers for that song (which means playing 15 sets of four songs on that land to get to ANOTHER). In addition, if you unlock all the songs as of June 6th, 2012, EXPERT course "DEVIL" will unlock, containing the first four Lincle Kingdom boss songs plus DIAVOLO up to the highest difficulty of unlocked charts. If you unlocked all the charts of at least one difficultly on the five Phase 2 songs, you'll unlock EXPERT court "KINGDOM" up to the highest difficulty of unlocked charts.

  • Release date: September 15th, 2011
  • Slogan: 可憐(>/rp>ラブリー×響音ドライブ新連鎖ニューリンクル。 (LOVELY × DRIVE = NEW LINCLE.)
  • Soundtrack release date:
    • beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK: February 29th, 2012

General Information / Changes

  • Theming is based on "connection" (taken from the name's portmanteau of "link" and "circle"), with a glossy aqua "futuristic laboratory" motif.
    • The theme's common "atomic" logo is derived from two circles forming a link.
    • Lincle LINK songs are colored in yellow, while all other new songs are colored in blue.
  • First arcade beatmania IIDX game:
    • To showcase the beatnation Records logo during the attract mode.
    • To preview songs when hovering to the songs in all modes. Earlier arcade games only played preview audio in BEGINNER.
      • Unlike earlier games' BEGINNER audio samples, it does not loop.
    • Since DJ Yoshitaka's debut in IIDX RED with no song by him on the default song list.
    • Since his debut with no good-cool song.
    • Since HAPPY SKY where Toshiyuki Kakuta has no new songs under his L.E.D. alias on the default song list.
    • To not feature local high score tables for STANDARD or EXPERT.
    • To not have a credits sequence or theme.
    • To display both minimum and maximum BPM during gameplay (if the song has BPM changes).
    • To count COMBO BREAK in a JUDGE window. This was first introduced in the console version of DJ TROOPERS.
      • MISS animations and overlays now play when a combo is broken. Previously, it only played when the MISS count (BAD and POORs) increased.
    • To separate the How to Play and Demonstration screens into two videos. Hihumi provided the voice lines for the former.
  • Lincle and jubeat copious were released the same day in Japan (September 15th, 2011), marking the first time in nine years two BEMANI titles are released in the arcades on the same day. (The last time occurred with DDRMAX2 and 7th style in March 2002.)
    • The soundtrack was also released at the same day as REFLEC BEAT limelight's (February 29th, 2012), the first time a beatmania IIDX OST has been released with another BEMANI game.
  • Q-Pro, a customizable avatar, is introduced. It can be customized with different skins and outfits.
  • eAMUSEMENT support for beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle ended on November 30th, 2012.
  • Total songs: 704

New Features/Modes

  • STEP UP mode: players are given a limited, but dynamic song list which refreshes every song, with the starting difficulty level based on a tier chosen in the beginning. Guarantees three stages.
  • FREE PLUS mode: a two-player variant of FREE mode, and lasts three stages.
  • SUDDEN+ TYPE B option: similar to SUDDEN+ option, but as HI-SPEED is changed in-game, the lane's height will change automatically.
  • EX-HARD: a harder variant of HARD gauge with harsher penalties for missed notes (excessive POORs by 10% and missed POORs with 18%). Appears as a yellow groove gauge, and awards an EX-HARD CLEAR lamp (ranked between FULL COMBO and HARD CLEAR).
    • It can also be used in the Dan / CLASS mode, by holding down VEFX and EFFECT after course selection until it begins. Similar to the regular Dan course gauge, but excess POORs reduce gauge by 5% and it is no longer more lenient under 30%.
    • HAZARD mode now use this gauge instead of HARD.
  • HELP DISPLAY: holding down VEFX button will display help on Mode Select and Music Select screens.
  • DJ VIP PASS: when selecting STANDARD mode and paying with PASELI, players have the option to buy either one of two passes. Both GOLD and PLATINUM guarantee three stages, while the latter also removes level restrictions.

Lincle Kingdom

Lincle Kingdom is the unlock event of beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle. Phase 1 started on September 28th, 2011, and Phase 2 started on November 16th, 2011. This event will only appear if you play a one-player round of STANDARD. eAMUSEMENT is required to play the event.

At the start of each playthrough, the player can choose among the following dungeons (the first three are removed upon starting Phase 2):

  • Lost Forest (迷いの森): high experience rates but low DELLAR.
  • Dimmish Pond (仄暗い沼): higher encounter rates for rare enemies.
  • Accursed Mountain (呪いの山): higher DELLAR rates but low experience.
  • Tower of PASELI (PASELIの塔, requires DJ VIP PASS with PASELI): clear one whole set of songs per round (including EXTRA STAGE if obtained), and you will go up a floor.

Sin/Boss Dungeon Q-Pro Level Conditions
Mamonis
GREED

Levaslater
ENVY
Envy Ocean (嫉妬の海) 40 Play a credit of songs with the same hundreds of note count
(for example, playing four songs under 600-699 notes; playing other songs outside the range will not count)
STN
WRATH
Indignant Volcano (憤怒の火山) 46 Play a credit of songs where the last character of the song connecting to the first character/number of the next song, and the last character for the fourth song must connect to the first character/number of the first song played.
(for example: R3, 3y3s, STAR FIELD and D2R; songs ending or starting with a symbol are not allowed)
Neulakyussra
JUDGEMENT
N/A Acquire the feathers for Rche, Levaslater and STN.
Cuvelia
REBIRTH
N/A Acquire all the feathers for the previous eight songs.

Amulet Rival required Level required Clear Lamp DJ LEVEL
NORMAL HYPER ANOTHER
Phase 1 bosses (Mamonis, Ashemu, Bulluvegola and Beridzebeth)
No amulet 0 N/A EX-HARD Clear or better A or better AA or better AAA
Soldier 1 12 HARD Clear or better B or better A or better AA or better
Gladiator 2 22 Clear or better No DJ LEVEL requirements
Phase 2 bosses (Rche, Levaslater, STN and Neulakyussra)
No amulet 0 N/A EX-HARD Clear or better A or better AA or better AAA
Holy Knight 1 43 HARD Clear or better B or better A or better AA or better
Sage 2 53 Clear or better C or better B or better A or better
Champion N/A Clear or better No DJ LEVEL requirements
The Last Guardian (Cuvelia)
No amulet 0 N/A EX-HARD Clear or better A or better AA or better AAA
Holy Knight 1 43 HARD Clear or better A or better AA or better AAA
Sage 2 53 Clear or better B or better A or better AA or better
Champion N/A Clear or better No DJ LEVEL requirements
Players may not use any STYLE or ASSIST modifiers.
