- Location test dates:
- April 20th to 25th, 2011
- April 28th to May 1st, 2011
- May 6th to 8th, 2011
- Release date: September 15th, 2011
- Slogan: 可憐×響音=新連鎖。 (LOVELY × DRIVE = NEW LINCLE.)
- Soundtrack release date:
- beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK: February 29th, 2012
General Information / Changes
- Theming is based on "connection" (taken from the name's portmanteau of "link" and "circle"), with a glossy aqua "futuristic laboratory" motif.
- The theme's common "atomic" logo is derived from two circles forming a link.
- Lincle LINK songs are colored in yellow, while all other new songs are colored in blue.
- First arcade beatmania IIDX game:
- To showcase the beatnation Records logo during the attract mode.
- To preview songs when hovering to the songs in all modes. Earlier arcade games only played preview audio in BEGINNER.
- Unlike earlier games' BEGINNER audio samples, it does not loop.
- Since DJ Yoshitaka's debut in IIDX RED with no song by him on the default song list.
- Since his debut with no good-cool song.
- Since HAPPY SKY where Toshiyuki Kakuta has no new songs under his L.E.D. alias on the default song list.
- To not feature local high score tables for STANDARD or EXPERT.
- To not have a credits sequence or theme.
- To display both minimum and maximum BPM during gameplay (if the song has BPM changes).
- To count COMBO BREAK in a JUDGE window. This was first introduced in the console version of DJ TROOPERS.
- MISS animations and overlays now play when a combo is broken. Previously, it only played when the MISS count (BAD and POORs) increased.
- To separate the How to Play and Demonstration screens into two videos. Hihumi provided the voice lines for the former.
- Lincle and jubeat copious were released the same day in Japan (September 15th, 2011), marking the first time in nine years two BEMANI titles are released in the arcades on the same day. (The last time occurred with DDRMAX2 and 7th style in March 2002.)
- The soundtrack was also released at the same day as REFLEC BEAT limelight's (February 29th, 2012), the first time a beatmania IIDX OST has been released with another BEMANI game.
- Q-Pro, a customizable avatar, is introduced. It can be customized with different skins and outfits.
- eAMUSEMENT support for beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle ended on November 30th, 2012.
- Total songs: 704
New Features/Modes
- STEP UP mode: players are given a limited, but dynamic song list which refreshes every song, with the starting difficulty level based on a tier chosen in the beginning. Guarantees three stages.
- FREE PLUS mode: a two-player variant of FREE mode, and lasts three stages.
- SUDDEN+ TYPE B option: similar to SUDDEN+ option, but as HI-SPEED is changed in-game, the lane's height will change automatically.
- EX-HARD: a harder variant of HARD gauge with harsher penalties for missed notes (excessive POORs by 10% and missed POORs with 18%). Appears as a yellow groove gauge, and awards an EX-HARD CLEAR lamp (ranked between FULL COMBO and HARD CLEAR).
- It can also be used in the Dan / CLASS mode, by holding down VEFX and EFFECT after course selection until it begins. Similar to the regular Dan course gauge, but excess POORs reduce gauge by 5% and it is no longer more lenient under 30%.
- HAZARD mode now use this gauge instead of HARD.
- HELP DISPLAY: holding down VEFX button will display help on Mode Select and Music Select screens.
- DJ VIP PASS: when selecting STANDARD mode and paying with PASELI, players have the option to buy either one of two passes. Both GOLD and PLATINUM guarantee three stages, while the latter also removes level restrictions.

- Dimmish Pond (仄暗い沼): higher encounter rates for rare enemies.
- Accursed Mountain (呪いの山): higher DELLAR rates but low experience.
- Tower of PASELI (PASELIの塔, requires DJ VIP PASS with PASELI): clear one whole set of songs per round (including EXTRA STAGE if obtained), and you will go up a floor. Higher floors reward much bigger rewards from rare enemies than the other dungeons. Phase 1 has 50 floors, and Phase 2 has 99.
When playing a song, your Q-Pro and the enemy will be displayed at the bottom of the movie in the center of the screen (or lower left if playing Double). Clearing a song (score/grade does not matter) destroys an enemy and gains experience and DELLAR; failure results in the Q-Pro retreating, with no rewards.
After each playthrough, the player will be shown how much experience and DELLAR they obtained for the session. Acquiring enough experience levels up the character and unlocks rewards, including the access of playing boss songs during EXTRA STAGE. The maximum level your Q-Pro can be is 99. Progress is shared between Single and Double play styles.
At Level 6, Q-Pro is able to access new dungeons, each named after the seven deadly sins (except gluttony). Playing a full set of four songs, regardless of difficulty or clear, will award a fragment for that particular dungeon. Prior to July 19th, 2012, a condition for a full set of four songs must also be satisfied for each of the dungeon, as follows:
Sin/Boss | Dungeon | Q-Pro Level | Conditions |
---|---|---|---|
Mamonis GREED |
Greed Ruins (強欲の廃都) Unexplored Jungle (未開の密林) |
6 | Play a credit of songs from the same game version. |
Ashemu LUST |
Lust Cave (色欲の洞窟) Death Desert (死の砂漠) |
14 | Play a credit of songs under the same genre. (Genres spelt differently do not count; for example, DRUM'N'BASS and DRUM & BASS) |
Bulluvegola SLOTH |
Sloth Iceberg (怠惰の氷山) Foggy Bog (霧の湿原) |
20 | Play a credit of songs credited to the same artist/alias. (Artists spelt differently do not count; for example, L.E.D. and L.E.D.-G) |
Beridzebeth GLUTTONY |
N/A | Acquire the feathers for Mamonis, Ashemu and Bulluvegola. | |
Rche PRIDE |
Pride of Dark Castle (傲慢の魔城) | 37 | Play a credit of songs with the same number of characters (including spaces and symbols) from the LED ticker (for example, ライオン好き, ANDROMEDA, Agnus Dei, LETHEBOLG~双神威に斬り咲けり~; all four songs have nine characters displayed in the ticker) |
Levaslater ENVY |
Envy Ocean (嫉妬の海) | 40 | Play a credit of songs with the same hundreds of note count (for example, playing four songs under 600-699 notes; playing other songs outside the range will not count) |
STN WRATH |
Indignant Volcano (憤怒の火山) | 46 | Play a credit of songs where the last character of the song connecting to the first character/number of the next song, and the last character for the fourth song must connect to the first character/number of the first song played. (for example: R3, 3y3s, STAR FIELD and D2R; songs ending or starting with a symbol are not allowed) |
Neulakyussra JUDGEMENT |
N/A | Acquire the feathers for Rche, Levaslater and STN. | |
Cuvelia REBIRTH |
N/A | Acquire all the feathers for the previous eight songs. |
Accumulating a certain amount of fragments (five for NORMAL, ten for HYPER, and 15 for ANOTHER) in at least one boss dungeon will unlock the Ancient Shrine (太古の神殿)/Ancient Ruins (太古の遺跡). When selected, the player will be forced to play a boss song during EXTRA STAGE. All boss songs only show their artist name, not the song title. To obtain a feather for a boss, the player must clear the song with a certain DJ Level and gauge. Amulets can also be purchased through the game's website, which can be used for simplifying acquisition conditions. The number of rivals required must also be set in order for the equipped amulet to take effect. These conditions are:
Amulet | Rival required | Level required | Clear Lamp | DJ LEVEL | ||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
NORMAL | HYPER | ANOTHER | ||||
Phase 1 bosses (Mamonis, Ashemu, Bulluvegola and Beridzebeth) | ||||||

For the hidden boss songs Beridzebeth (for Phase 1) and Neulakyussra (Phase 2), the feathers for that respective set of songs must be obtained for a particular difficulty. Failing to meet the condition for these bosses will forfeit all the feathers obtained for that particular set and difficulty. Clearing Beridzebeth at least once unlocks Phase 2, and acquiring all eight feathers allows the player to challenge Cuvelia on ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE on the same difficulty Neulakyussra was cleared (along with the forfeiture of Phase 2 feathers if failed). Once the feather for each of the respective bosses is acquired, that song can be played on EXTRA STAGE without any penalty of forfeiture of feathers.
As of January 26th, 2012, boss songs can now be unlocked for regular play through purchasing Devil cards via DELLAR (basic eAMUSEMENT subscription is required). Costs for HYPER and ANOTHER charts are worth twice and thrice the amount for NORMAL charts respectively: Phase 1 boss songs cost 10000 DELLAR, Phase 2 songs 20000, and Cuvelia 30000. Unlocking these charts is also required to unlock the EXPERT courses DEVIL (Phase 1 songs) and KINGDOM (Phase 2 songs and Cuvelia).
