Latest revision as of 23:44, 13 November 2024
It is known that KONAMI has a habit of having songs that appear in earlier BEMANI games, such as data that contains graphics, charts, and even song cuts of unused licensed and KONAMI original songs, before their proper debuts. This page will list every known song that appeared earlier in some way (HDD data, location test, master song list, etc.) before its proper debut.
Note that unlike the Scrapped Songs page, this lists songs that only actually appeared in a final BEMANI game.
Songs are listed by the game they were going to debut on, not the game they finally appeared in. It also doesn't list songs that were going to be transferred to another BEMANI game when they originally were already in one (i.e. FLOWER being scheduled for beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle after its premiere in REFLEC BEAT and jubeat knit APPEND).
This page is under HEAVY construction. For songs whose movements aren't covered by official KONAMI sources, please use the Talk Page.
beatmania
beatmania 5thMIX -time to get down-
- SKIN / CHARLOTTE
- References to this song can be found on the beatmania 5thMIX data. Instead, it was later released months later in beatmania IIDX 3rd style (it never appeared as a playable song in the original beatmania series, though).
beatmania completeMIX 2
- DISCO DANCING / DJ SIMON
- According to DJ SIMON himself, DISCO DANCING was finished before 321 STARS, which debuted in beatmania completeMIX 2. DISCO DANCING was later put in beatmania ClubMIX.
beatmania ClubMIX
- CONGA / good-cool feat. JP Miles
- Final Count Down(MTO CRY BABY STYLE) / dj TAKA feat. Jasmine
- dj TAKA himself confirmed in Final Count Down(MTO CRY BABY STYLE)'s song comments that both of these licensed covers were originally made for beatmania ClubMIX. However, time restraints resulted in them being moved to beatmania IIDX 4th style.
beatmania IIDX
beatmania IIDX
- Cherry&Raquel / The Ebisu Singers
- Originally written for beatmania IIDX, but was moved to pop'n music 2 after Hiroshi Takeyasu discussed with beatmania IIDX sound director dj nagureo.
beatmania IIDX 3rd style
- A / D.J.Amuro
- According to the song comments, the concept for A was thought up for 3rd style, but its release was put off until 7th style as KONAMI was afraid it would be too hard of a song for players at the time.
beatmania IIDX 9th style
- Love Is Eternity / kors k
- According to the song comments, Love Is Eternity was made for 9th style, but later ended up on 10th style instead.
beatmania IIDX 10th style

beatmania IIDX 15 DJ TROOPERS CS
- ToyCube Pf.(RX-Ver.S.P.L.) / 高田雅史
- Masafumi Takada himself said that this song was originally written for DJ TROOPERS CS under a different name. Due to time constraints, though, it didn't make it in, and instead debuted a game later in beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS + PREMIUM BEST.
beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS
- Macuilxochitl / TOMOSUKE
- According to two tweets from Tomosuke's twitter account back in February 2011, Macuilxochitl was originally made for beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS. It was later remixed and became Almagest, while the original version of the song was used in jubeat ripples instead. - Horizons of Promise / BEMANI Sound Team "SPIRITUAL RIDE"
- According to Horizons of Promise's sound comments, the song was supposed to debut in Rootage, but time constrains resulted in it not making it in. It instead appeared in beatmania IIDX 27 HEROIC VERSE.
beatmania IIDX 27 HEROIC VERSE
- BEMANI PRO LEAGUE Theme / BEMANI Sound Team "Sota F."
- As its title implies, BEMANI PRO LEAGUE Theme is the main theme of the BEMANI PRO LEAGUE event, originally scheduled to start in 2020. As the event was delayed to May 2021, the song was moved to 28 BISTROVER. Full chart and audio data for this song can be found in HEROIC VERSE, alongside an early version of its unique video.
