  • Release Date: October 15th 2009
  • Rival data was collected from May 13th through the 31st.
  • First IIDX CS style that will be two discs; one contains the EMPRESS songs and some revivals, and the other, called Premium Best, contains the rest of the revivals. Revivals will come from every IIDX AC game.
  • First IIDX CS game were many of the CS originals have generic videos.
  • Features at least 195 songs and will be the last version on PS2.

Special Edition Offers

On the same day of release as Beatmania IIDX Empress CS + Premium Best, four other items will be made available from Konamistyle, individually and contained within at least one of the Special Edition collections:

  • Beatmania IIDX CS Collection ~GOLD, DJ TROOPERS, EMPRESS~: A 3-CD collection of the new songs released in the console versions of IIDX GOLD, DJ TROOPERS, and EMPRESS. Each CD will contain the new songs from one of the three releases. The full songlist from each game may be seen here. (Note: This collection will not be available for individual purchase.)
  • Beatmania IIDX Visual Emotions 8 (3990 JPY, ~$39.90 US): The eighth DVD collection of videos and visualizations from various Beatmania IIDX songs. 35 songs have been revealed for the DVD on the product page, but it is unknown at this time whether more songs will appear at a future time.
  • Ryu☆ - Starmine (3150 JPY, ~$31.50 US): The first Beatnation Records album from Ryu☆. As with some previous Beatnation Records albums, the album will feature 2 CDs. The first CD (labeled Original Album Side) will feature 20 of Ryu's songs, including songs from previous Beatmania IIDX releases, Bass 2 Bass from jubeat and a new collaboration song with kors k. The second CD (labeled Beatnation Records REMIXes SIDE) will contain 14 remixes of songs composed by Ryu. For those who pre-order the album, a third disc, the 青龍 Bonus Disc, will be included featuring four songs under Ryu's 青龍 alias. 3y3s, Waxing and Wanding and Time to Air and Blue Moment(New Song) are confirmed for the album,product page.
  • Beatmania IIDX Spin-off Drama ROOTS26S (Suite) Vol.1 (2940 JPY, ~$29.40 US): The first of a scheduled 3-volume animated drama series featuring the DJs found in the Beatmania IIDX series.

  • Special Edition (9980 JPY, ~$99.80 US): Contains IIDX Empress CS + Premium Best games, the IIDX CS collection, and two mystery items yet to be named.
  • Special Set (13,970 JPY, ~$139.70 US): Contains IIDX Empress CS + Premium Best games, the IIDX CS collection, Visual Emotions 8, and two mystery items yet to be named.
  • Complete Set (20,060 JPY, ~$200.60 US): Contains IIDX Empress CS + Premium Best games, all four items listed above, and two mystery items yet to be named.

  • 5 Key lane cover on other side: Hold down on the 5KEYS modifier.

Extra Stage

General extra stage requirements

The third stage must meet one of the following:

  • 6+: Full combo.
  • 7+: Groove gauge full.
  • 8+: Just clear the song.

Normal extra stage

In standard mode the 3 songs played must meet these requirements:

  • They must all be cleared with an AA or higher (INCLUDING the third one)
  • The combined difficulties of the three songs played should be 10 or higher on Single Play and 7 or higher on Double Play
  • None of the following mods may be used: RANDOM, MIRROR, 5KEY and A-SCR in Single Play and in addition BATTLE in Double Play
  • The third song must meet the general Extra Stage requirements

Bonus extra stages

Full Combo at least 30 songs. Play all 3 songs specific to artist

Hard Clear all 3 songs with a AA or higher while meeting Extra Stage requirements.

Normal OMES

Clear the ES on another with hard on, A or higher.

Empress place

In standard mode the three songs' difficulties must add up to 21 or more on Single Play and 18 or more on Double Play, the third stage must meet Extra Stage requirements.

Empress place OMES

Get a jewel on all 3 empress place songs, when you get the third and each time after that himiko will automatically start.

  • Normal: just clear with an A or higher.
