beatmania IIDX CLASSIC CLASS/Kiwami Dan Courses
The CLASSIC CLASS Courses are a series of courses ranked so that each course is harder than the last, featuring courses of each level that were reprised up until the release of beatmania IIDX 24 SINOBUZ and 25 CANNON BALLERS, including console versions.
As the CLASSIC CLASS courses are under the EXPERT mode, players are permitted to use any modifier allowed that were otherwise unavailable to use in the Dan / CLASS mode (such as RANDOM and ASSIST). However, Kiwami (極) courses, first introduced in beatmania IIDX 28 BISTROVER, still maintain the modifier restrictions as like Dan / CLASS mode. The courses can be played on no particular order, and can be changed by pressing the VEFX button. Kiwami also have the following restrictions:
- To pass the Kiwami course, you have to clear all the courses consecutively; failing once will reset the progress.
- Each attempt cycles between playing the course regularly and with MIRROR on. EX-HARD gauge is unavailable on all attempts.
- The gauge is limited to the lowest value it reached during your previous attempt, rounded down to the next even integer (e.g. if your gauge reached 43% on your first attempt, the gauge on your second attempt will be limited to 42%).
- In beatmania IIDX 29 CastHour, two other restrictions were added:
- The gauge is limited to the course' CLEAR RATE (second) and its combination of two minus 100% (third) with the value rounded down to the next even number (if the combined CLEAR RATE is less than 100%, the gauge is defaulted to 2% on the third attempt).
- A damage multiplier is added, which subsequently increases the damage rate by x0.25 for each course cleared in succession.
- In beatmania IIDX 30 RESIDENT, MIRROR can now be enabled on either odd-numbered or even-numbered courses per each attempt.
For the sake of convenience, due to the number of courses that shares the same set of songs, version of courses that are featured in-game will only be listed (courses which originated from consoles are suffixed with CS and listed after arcade titles, as well as any backside courses). Note that Kyu courses do not have Kiwami counterparts.

1st Dan (初段) to 10th Dan (十段)

Trivia
- Double Play 6th Kyu is the only course to use the same version for CLASSIC CLASS, in this case, INFINITAS.
- Double Play Kaiden is also the only class in CLASSIC CLASS to use a course from both the arcade release and console version for the same version, in the case, DistorteD.
- All Kiwami courses for Double Play courses, as well as the Chuuden class, are limited to copula and later, as these courses had 4 songs like they do on Single.
- While Double Play 3rd Kyu technically shares the same set of songs, these songs are still retained in a 4-song course format when Dan/Class mode was revamped in copula.
- Some of the courses have had changes in song order or difficulty used from their original appearances:
- In SINOBUZ's CLASSIC CLASS Double Play 7th Dan, CaptivAte ~誓い~ and Luv 2 Feel Your Body were swapped.
- In SINOBUZ's CLASSIC CLASS Double Play 10th Dan, State Of The Art uses its Black ANOTHER chart instead.
- In RESIDENT's 極 Single Play 2nd Dan, Holic uses its NORMAL chart instead.
- SINOBUZ's CLASSIC CLASS for Single Play 8th Dan is a reference to how said course mistakenly used ANOTHER instead of HYPER for its songs in the arcade releases of 10th style.
- The DJ TROOPERS CS Single Kaiden course, one of the three Kiwami courses available in CastHour's Kiwami courses, was the first course to use entirely LEGGENDARIA (previously Black ANOTHER) charts for all of its charts.
- Coincidentally, the FINAL Stage for the aforementioned three courses had exactly 2000 notes.
- RESIDENT marks the first time when there are more than one new course available in the same Class, in the case, both the Single and Double Play backside Kaiden courses.
- Its Single backside Kaiden course is the second course to contain entirely LEGGENDARIA charts, and also the first course where the FINAL Stage song does not contain exactly 2000 notes.
